The Management team was not welcoming at all. It started when my group asked to change tables. We were told that they couldn't move us and that it would be a long wait. We said we would wait. Not long after that we were given another seating arrangement. Fast forward to the food. One lady in particular in our group ordered her fish blackened and it was served to her plain. She went ahead and ate it because we had been there for quite some time and didn't want to wait any longer. When the bill came, she mentioned to the waitress that she was charged for blackened fish she didn't receive. The waitress told her manager and her manager came to the table fussing saying she did receive blackened fish. She said she saw them fix it and if her fish was not blackened enough she should had said something then and they could have blackened it more. Who was she going to tell. The servers that served the food retreated like it was Custer's last stance. So that meant she would have to wait until the waitress returned. The management didn't look at every plate that came out because I watched them after they said that. They offered to refund 50 cents saying that is how much the seasoning costs. I had only heard good things about the restaurant and that was my first time at this establishment. First impressions. Despite the rude and disrespectful managers, we were not going to let them spoil...
Read moreOur waiter Marko was absolutely lovely. So kind and attentive, and barely had to write our order down. We then proceeded to order our meals that had to be a bit customized due to two of us being vegetarian (which is the same thing every time we come here), he confirmed them and sent them to the kitchen. The chef and later found out, also an owner, Mr Kelly, needed to come back to our table to confirm the order. When they brought our food to the table, the order had chicken on both dishes. We found out that our server entered our meal correctly, and Kelly decided to add chicken to our order, I assume so he could charge $21 instead of $18 for our meals. We sent the meals back to have them made the way we requested and he was EXTREMELY RUDE. The entire kitchen and staff throughout the restaurant then began to stare and make comments amongst themselves about us and made us extremely uncomfortable. Our meals finally came about 2 hours after we sat down, overall, I don’t see suite 100 getting our business again. It’s a shame because our waiter was amazing and it appeared he was getting spoken to very poorly by Kelly. Just very unprofessional, and our party cannot believe he is an owner. You might want to have your other owner(s) put Mr Kelly in check because he will make your best employees quit and your regular customers not even want to come...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst dining experience we’ve ever had in Anchorage and our first time dining at suite 100. 4 meals ordered. 2 steaks, a cheeseburger, and the halibut special. The steaks were RAW, the burger was RAW, and the only dish that was decent was the halibut. Not only did the food come out at different times (steaks first, then a couple minutes later the burger, and finally the halibut), we had WAITED OVER AN HOUR for the food to arrive! At this point we did not want to wait for those meals to be made right. The steaks and burger were literally raw inside, must have been seared quickly and thrown on plates because they recognized we’d been waiting too long. The burger was red inside and the manager told us they cut into it in the kitchen and found that it was only the bite my son took that was red, the rest was well done. Yeah right!
We won’t be back. It’s too bad because the ambience is lovely, but the quality of the food was unacceptable as was the wait time. We watched as others who were seated after us got their food. We also waited for a very long time to receive the bread that was promised at the start.
We went on a Friday night around 6:30pm and were seated fairly quickly, so, busy...
