Subway — Restaurant in Alaska

I sometimes go to this one since it’s near my house, I went in today and I see that they just finished with a rush so I wait until the lady is ready to take my order. The lady then goes “FIRST?” So I tell her my sandwich and she proceeds to say “can you tell me what you want so I can do this online order” never have I ever felt so rushed in my life, I know my order by heart and have never had this problem. After it’s toasted a second lady asks me what veg I want. I say just lettuce and cucumbers, and then asks about sauce, I ask for mayo and sweet onion. She seemed new because she didn’t know what she was looking for, she asks the first lady if there’s sweet onion and the first lady didn’t even bother to help, she says somewhere over there. The second lady then says “sweet onion teriyaki?” And I looked confused because I always order with mayo and sweet onion, so I say “I normally order with sweet onion and mayo” and she says “oh no we don’t have that” and just stared into my eyes, so I say “that’s fine then we can just get that” the whole entire time it’s silent and she just glares at me. I just find it crazy that this place would shut down the lobby and the restrooms 45 minutes before closing time. It’s one thing to clean the place before you close, but to shut down the bathrooms and the lobby 45 minutes before closing seems very selfish on behalf of the workers and the manager who is running the show. It seems like they are willing to sacrifice quality customer experience just to be out of the store the second the clock turns 10 o’clock. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for 20 years, It’s just not a good look. What if somebody was passing through the city and needed to grab something to eat and sit down and unwind for a few minutes? Maybe even use the bathroom before they carry-on with the next three or four hours of driving? They would be totally screwed and likely just simply go to Walmart next time instead of even bothering to...

Worst subway ever. Go in to make a quick pick up as subway is pretty quick. I stand in line for almost 5 min! Only 1 person ahead of me and one person behind me. Finally another worker comes to serve me. No wheat bread! Moves so slow then pours about 3 tablespoons of salt on my sandwich. Meanwhile the lady behind me is getting served and leaves with her order before I even get to the register! 5 workers are in the store! 2 were just standing around doing nothing! Unbelieveable!! Who trains these people? Ruined my lunch! Never go back there again! Poor poor poor service. Slow, uncaring, unattentive and laxidaisy attitude! Not impressed.
