I was greatly disappointed with Management today. My son had won his football game and wanted to eat pizza from his favorite spot, Uncle Joes. Unfortunately, his younger brother's stomach does not enjoy their food so we got him some food from a different restaurant so the rest of us could enjoy the pizza at Uncle Joe's. My wife and son had already been sat when me and my younger son who is 6 years old came in with his food. Not a word was said about not allowing outside food until after we had ordered drinks. It was then we were told no outside food was permitted. Now dont get me wrong, I understand not wanting outside food in one's restaurant, but the food was for our little one. I even asked if we could just have a plate and we could put the food on it so no one would know he was eating food from some where else, but there was no compromise. The food there is great so the poor rating is not for the food but for the lack of understanding. As a customer that ate there often, primarily take out as I have three kids whom all do sports, I would have liked to seen a little customer loyalty, maybe a hey we will let you order this time but please dont bring it in again. A good manager would understand we didnt bring in food from another place as an insult, we just wanted to enjoy the best pizza in town at the actual restaurant for once rather than having to once again take it home. I assumed a place that appeared to be aimed for families would have been more accommodating.......disappointed.
Thanks for your response but you were wrong in your response. My six year old was the only one who had food ,not two of us. This was made clear when I spoke directly with Managment. I find it funny how you choose to alter facts to make your side seem better. I understand there are policies. All businesses have policies but exceptions can always be made to accommodate a customer. As you can tell I didnt say anything negative about the staff or the policy....just the lack of customer service for loyal customers. I am just glad there are other Uncle Joe's establishments I can patron as the one off of Old Seward does not have management that is skilled in customer service. Shame on you for misrepresenting...
Read moreI wrote this review on 7/3/19. Joe responded, apologized, and said he would give me a refund. I replied, and asked him how do I get the refund. To date he has not responded. Once again EPIC FAIL in customer service. Go to Moose's Tooth, or Pizza Hut...just don't go here. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I just ordered ribs , a 2 litre of pop, and 2 cups of ice. This is what I have ordered every time . I initially ordered everything but ice, but called back to add. The person on the phone was unable to comprehend what I was asking for (it wasn't on the menu🤣) The manager got on the phone, and said they could not send "open containers because the driver would not allow it). I explained this was something I asked for Every. Single. Time. She said she would ask, but that it wouldn't be her fault if the ice melted before it was delivered. The ribs this time were HORRIBLE! Literally so tough and tasteless it's not even worth it. That's $17 down the drain. No cups or ice were delivered, and the driver stated he wasn't even informed about it. I called back, and talked to the manager who said she would send it right out. 2 minutes later she called, and said the owner said absolutely not. Read moreI called to order a pizza tonight and the call menu was very sketchy. It sounded like a scam call center when the individual on the other end of the line picked up. I called three locations and got similar suspicious, non-genuine sounding individuals take my calls. They all had the same script-like responses and it sounded more like an outsourced IT-related call. It was so suspicious, I never got to the payment section because I was worried that the call line had been taken over or something of that nature. On the third call, I asked if something had changed about the call menu and if it had been outsourced. The person on the line said they were now taking calls in the back of the restaurant. This was weird, so I hung up. I came into the physical location and asked the waitress if the call line had been outsourced. She confirmed that it had been. This is really weird, I’m not sure if I’m comfortable ordering pizza over the phone now. Ordering pizza through an outsourced call center is a very strange feeling.
