I was very impressed with this locally-owned business! All the ingredients, milk, and dairy are from a local distributor, too. When I called ahead and had questions, despite it being a busy and hot evening, the customer service was excellent. The staff member took the time to list off and describe the flavors and to educate me about the business and the quality of their products.

Additionally, the ice cream flavor menu options will change depending on the time of the season and the availability of local fresh ingredients, for example, wild Alaskan blueberries. I love the fun names of the ice creams and that the waffle cones are made fresh daily; at this ice cream shop you can get a scrumptious ice cream waffle cone, or a pint (or three) of the flavors they have prepared.

The conclusion of my(and my family's) experience at Motley Moo Creamery, is a definite 5 out of 5. Why 5-star rating do you ask? Their prices! I was so incredibly awed by how amazing their prices were considering everything is local! To give you an idea of how much I spent, my family got two single waffle cones and a milkshake for about $12.00. If you see the picture added to my review, this was my ice cream after I had eaten 1/4th of it.

I had an incredible experience at Motley Moo thanks to Drake Ward’s outstanding service. From the moment I walked in, Drake greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and a welcoming vibe that instantly made the place feel special. He walked me through the unique flavor options with such passion and detail that I couldn’t help but get excited about trying something new. I ended up going with “Midnight Moo” and “Blueberry Crumble Dream” based on his spot-on recommendations, and they were honestly some of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. He even threw in a little extra crumble because “it’d hit different”—and it did.

Our first trip was on the first +70° summer day and my daughter insisted on mint chocolate chip which the other ice cream place everyone is 'wild' about didn't have. We decided to give them a try and wow!! I don't even like mint chocolate chip and her ice cream was delicious. Creamy and cool with chocolate pieces small enough they don't freeze into little bricks. I got the glazed and confused and while it didn't quite taste like the flavor (if I remember, it was glazed raspberry donut) but whatever the flavor, it was delicious! The high quality ice cream was pushed to perfection with the freshly made, absolutely buttery and delicious waffle cones! We will be back for the ice...
