Read moreI ordered off of doordash and was extremely disappointed I got the gizzard dinner that was advertised to come with macaroni, rice and collard greens. I also got a fried rib meal and it showed options were you could upgrade your side for 50 cents (I chose tater tots). I also ordered a side of fried okra. So imagine my surprise when I get our food and all of the sides were okra. So I check my online receipt on doordash and I in fact didn’t accidentally click okra for my dishes sides. I look on the takeout bag and see the ticket that they staple to the orders and you can clearly see what I substituted or payed extra for and see ONE order of okra. This lets me know whoever cooked AND bagged my food was just being lazy because you can see what I clearly ordered. They did not care and simply gave me okra for all of my sides for my meals plus the side of okra I ordered. I think it’s extremely disrespectful to purposely make something wrong that a customer is paying for. As a person who works in the food service industry they had 3 times to look at my food and make it right. The first one was the online ticket/receipt from doordash, the second one was the ticket that prints out in the back for the cooks and the third ticket that the server puts on the takeout bags to differentiate orders. 3 times to check and make sure everything was right. I also ordered a large 32 oz lemonade and received a 20 oz tea and 20 oz lemonade. This was my first time ordering from this establishment and I highly doubt I order from them again. If you decide to order from them I suggest you order takeout in person so you can look at your order to see if it was made correctly. Now I do give credit where credit is due the fried ribs were dry and disgusting but the fried gizzards were well seasoned and cooked...

I ordered before a guy that came in after us and his food was ready before ours. The owner told me that our food would be 25mins lies…. Then when I told him that he told me 25minutes he had the nerve to mention my job and say you know how it is smh!!! That’s unprofessional and unsympathetic my kids was hungry and we came in to get food before they got a hair cut. Then he has the nerve to have a sign up that says no refunds!!! Sad very sad!!! Instead of making excuses you could have atleast offered my kids a drink for the wait I work in customer service and my skills are way better which is crazy!!!! After we got our food I’m guessing his wife came over to our table and said is everything ok I said no my kids said their bacon was nasty it tasted old!!! As you can see I paid for the bacon they did not eat she said oh ok didn’t even offer to make fresh bacon for them!!! Than asked if we had drinks, I said no and still didn’t even say we’ll can I get y’all some water or a drink for the wait!!!! Black ppl gotta do better I’m disappointed and I will...
