I walked a bit to come to this place to try it out because a local said it’s a place to try. When I went in, I had to wait for a table and they forgot about me while everyone after me got seated. Once I reminded them, they got me seated. I ordered onion rings, chicken pot pie, homemade potato chips, and sweet tea. The onion rings was the best and some of the best I have ever had. They wore season well. I didn’t eat the dipping sauce, not a fan of mustard. Chicken pot pie, it needs some seasoning. Crust was flaky, chicken was good, but the gravy needs some seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper to make it taste decent. The homemade chips are my favorite. I always end up ordering extra for them. They just need to add some salt on them once they are done frying them. They taste like homemade chips. I believe sweet tea was the most disappointing thing from this experience. Whoever made the tea isn’t a southern or doesn’t know how to make it. I had to ask for sugar which they didn’t have. I had to go with sweeten low. My waitress was friendly and nice. She got my order right and out fast. I did come in a busy time of day. I do want to come back and try the pizza or Stromboli. Bathroom is...
Read moreTea was warm even with ice. It would melt ice quickly. They only serve pepsi products which is fine with many but I just do not like pepsi. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and to me the cheese was very strong. Tasted like the dry parmason therfore did not have a creamy sauce. Last time I was there I had spegetti and it was good. Lettice in salad was warm and not at all crunchy. It just was not as good to me last night. Bathroom filthy both men and ladies. So nasty we could not use them. My husband had chicken pot pie which he said was very good. Anyway I am not fond of idea of going back. Nose rings are fine if that is what people want but to me our waitress just looked nasty with two in center of her nose. One on side would have been fine. She was loud and did check on us though. I just would not look at her so I could eat. I know that would not bother some people but it made my stomach churn There is a time and place for everything is my motto. It is fine as I have a choice not to eat there anymore. I was with five others so we spent some money in there. Prices are not cheap atmosphere does not go along with their menu if that...
