I am a local, have seen this restaurant go down hill over the last couple years. Yesterday my experience there hit rock bottom. Best friend and I came in for breakfast and hostess suggested we go to lounge and ushered us off with out menus and did not seat us, nor did she bother to ask us where we wanted to sit. I'm pregnant, have no interest sitting in bar lounge. So we seated ourselves in a regular booth. Waitress was nice at first. When she brought our beverage she placed my friend's drink in front of me and my drink in front of my friend. No big deal. After bringing food she did not check on us even once. My eggs were undercooked, I ordered over-med and the whites were runny like water. Our crepes, filling and all were cold, meanwhile I'm pregnant and hungry enough to eat a horse and having to wait and trying to get their attention with no success. We talked with manager told her all of the above and she was very accommodating, discounted half our bill, had our food remade which was done right the 2nd time, the cooks were hispanic males that were acting very unprofessional and being way too flirtatious with the servers which I could see they disliked but the ladies just brushed it off and seemed like they were used to them saying inappropriate things (I can understand and speak a fair amount of Spanish) and you can see them and everything they are doing, no respect for their co-workers whatsoever. The servers had to speak broken Spanish to them to try to get them to understand as they were messing up a lot of orders. We saw a lot of food go back. Then our waitress was behind the counter doing side work and I watched as she slammed dishes and untensils into bussing tub and caught her glaring at us out of the corner of my eye. We should have got up and left right then with out paying. Not sure why we stayed at all or even gave them our money and still tipped $3 because the manager was kind. She was young and was doing her best to be a good leader. We always just go to Elmer's, they are the best. This Denny's over all has turned into a ghetto non-quality establishment with no give...
Read moreOrdered our food (Breakfast for dinner - the french toast scrambler and the eggs Benedict meals with a strawberry cheesecake milkshake and an order of the strawberry pancake puppies) from the waitress in the bar. When we arrived it was a few other people in the bar, a few people had food already at their tables, but most of the other patrons were on the video poker machines. We chose to order from the bar because the restaurant seemed rather busy and from past experiences, something always gets left out or mixed up when we order when they are busy. The waitress in the bar was helpful, but seemed to be rather overwhelmed and was cordial but not super friendly. She took our order and when we only tipped a few dollars (because we were ordering to go and honestly, we were on a small budget, she looked at us like she was annoyed and told us she would be back with our shake. 5 minutes later she returned with our shake, set it on the table by us and without saying anything and walked away. It was another 25 minutes or so, before we received our food without so much as thank you for coming or have a goodnight! We left and immediately went to the truck to go over what we had ordered. I had ordered the eggs Benedict which was okay. Could have been worse but could have been way better. The eggs were cooked decent, but the English muffin was not toasted at all and the amount of hollandaise sauce was very little. Let's just say, there was more to yolk in one egg than there was hollandaise sauce for both. The hash browns were cold. The strawberry pancake puppies were awesome, although I didn't realize until after I ate over 3/4 of them that there was cream cheese frosting that was supposed to go on them. The french toast scrambler was decent, and the only thing that was not up to par was the cold hash browns and the fact that his eggs were over medium and not over easy as he had ordered. Besides that, it was an okay experience. I will try to order from them again, probably not from the bar and probably not when...
Read moreI tried to call but no one answers. So here I am with one star. I went in with some co workers and had the worst experience at a Dennys at this location I’ve ever had at this chain.
We called ahead of time to give a heads up too that we would be coming in as a big work group and they wouldn’t even let us sit together as a group. She said she didn’t want to move the tables together because of this and that- why couldn’t we have? Well we didn’t put of respect. After working a long ten hour swing shift… this was the Most unfriendly dennys over ever been to.
They were out of everything, no onion rings, no chips, no motz sticks, no milk shakes… we ordered a lemonade, two hot cocos. Got orders wrong, burgers too. They never came nor did waters…or silverware until after the food came. This waitress had to be having a day because she just didn’t remember anything at all. She told us instead of getting the pick your four appetizer, it would be more cost effective and better portions if we just got two sides of boneless wings and fries instead of the app to share for 10.99 we asked for ranch and honey mustard. She brought ranch only. Fries way later. We asked for our bill and she was very short and was like you can just come to the counter when you’re ready with a rude tone. We went to pay and it was 24$ and some odd cents. What a rip off. she should’ve just let us order it how we wanted to instead of racking up the prices like she did. Very sneaky. Very poor quality service. I think she had her daughter or kids there too constantly distracting her from working. Showing her things on her phone and not allowing her to work properly. I will probably never come to this location again this was just terrible service all around. I didn’t even get a receipt either. And they won’t pick up the phone so I can address this with a manager either… I don’t know if I want to go in to address it or not but just go elsewhere and save...
