There is a indoor mask mandate in effect throughout the state of Minnesota due to a resurgence of COVID-19. My family and I use to stop at the Subway in Albany on our way home from Alexandria each week. This week we stopped by and half of the staff, including what appeared to be the manager, and none of the patrons were wearing a mask. We turned around and immediately left the store. This complacency is an insult to healthcare workers, and will likely result in extended mandates and future closures of small businesses. We sat there for probably 45 minutes to cool down and observed how friendly they were to all customers. Then when we left, one of the workers followed us outside and gave us 2 single energy packets.
