The fall off of this Taco Bell needs to be studied. It used to be fine, recently it has gone majorly downhill. Whoever is running night crew specifically, either needs to get their crews act together, or be fired altogether so someone competent can do it.
The crew is rude, barely even acknowledge you exist, and get the order wrong nearly every single time you go at this point. I was at the window waiting for my order and the cashier was getting visibly mad and cursing up a storm because other people pulled into the drive thru to order. The window was wide open, he wasn’t even trying to hide it. This was on April 9th, around 7-8 PM.
They don’t put the Dorito tacos in the sleeves, which are basically necessary to eat them without immediately falling apart. Don’t bother ordering a supreme taco here either because they will not put the sour cream or tomatoes on the taco and you will have wasted your money for slop that falls apart before you can even take one bite. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.
They don’t put napkins or sauce in the bag. If you ask them for either they will get an attitude with you and act all pissy because you asked for something that at any other Taco Bell is the bare minimum.
I ordered the new street chalupas, which normally come in a sleeve that separates the two. This time there was no sleeve and the chalupas had just been slammed together and flattened together. There was also barely any meat on them. Inedible trash.
I always go through the drive thru, but seeing the other recent reviews, it looks like the lobby inside barely gets cleaned and is constantly dirty. Which makes a lot of sense considering the lazy and rude employees that run the place, who get mad at the very virtue of you even being present there. I guess the people that make sure they get a paycheck get in the way of them just standing around all night and smoking weed while the store falls apart.
Avoid this Taco Bell at all costs until they decide they actually wanna start treating the people that keep that trash heap of a businesses lights on like actual people and not disposable garbage. Go to the Taco Bell on Airport RD on the other side of town. Better yet, avoid Taco Bell completely. Go to an actual Mexican food joint that at the very least pretends to care about the quality of the food. Go to Rigoberto’s right across the street, or Victoricos just a few miles down the road. The local Mexican food trucks in town like La China and San Jose’s are fantastic as well. These are the places I’ll be spending my money at from now on.
Get your act together Taco Bell. You used to actually be halfway edible and convenient enough to justify the admittedly substandard food.

Read moreI want to start by saying that all of the people that gave this Taco Bell one star are the product of blood relatives breeding, or simply have the incorrect amount of chromosomes, or both. See, it's Taco Bell. It's not a 4 star Michelin restaurant. You get what you pay for. However, I had a great experience there. I love the new decor. It's neat, clean, and really shows that they are trying to improve their lobbies and restrooms. The men's room was clean. I was a bit dismayed to find there was no hot water, but rather room temperature water. I do like the foot pedal to assist with opening the door so you don't have to touch it unless you want to. Maybe some people don't have arms? I've never thought of that, so kudos to Taco Bell. I placed an order electronically and received my food approximately 10 minutes later. The food quality was great, although very salty. The employees were diligently working, and not chatting about how Sarita couldn't have a date last night because Andre wouldn't come pick up Lateesha, and he knew damn well it was her night to pick her up, and his trifling ass is 2 months behind on child support because he quit his job at AM-PM. None of that talk. Rather refreshing. Approximately 90 minutes later I had an urgent but normal (non diarrheal) bowel movement. I...
Read moreI've been to this specific Taco Bell many times before. Though I do enjoy the food, I will start by saying it should NOT be listed under Authentic Mexican. It is fast food. They have good prices for the food but as far as ordering....well, don't take the drive through during lunch (around 1200-1300) or dinner (1800-1900) unless you're fine with a 15 minute wait or LONGER. Since this location was remodeled (probably 4 years ago, now) they have yet to grasp how to serve the drive through line efficiently. It has not increased in speed much since the remodel. Speaking of the remodel, when I was a kid, my family would come here very often, and I miss the way it used to be. This Taco Bell used to have a Chevy Bel Air grille in the wall above the soda machine, 1950's style moving seats and neon lights just about everywhere. Why a Taco Bell was trying to look like a diner, I am not sure, but I loved the weirdness of it. It was one of the coolest memories of my childhood and I'll never be able to relive it. Also, the quality of the restaurant in general has declined since it was rebuilt. If you just want somewhere cheap to get some decent food, this is a good option (but Burger King is just around the corner too). Not a bad place, but it used...
