Tony's Jr Churros — Restaurant in Albany

This place is the VERY best! I always get churros here when I’m in the area and they’re open. I’ve been here a few times and only once was it at the wrong time (I didn’t know they weren’t open daily, but it’s totally worth the wait until they are!). I’m from San Diego and I miss having access to churros in every corner of town. These are delicious! The relleno strawberries ones are my favorite. And the strawberry flavor is sweet, but not too sweet, making it still taste like a cinnamon churro with all the warm, crispy flavors - it’s just perfect! Definitely worth coming by. I've seen this place a few times, but never been. They are open the evenings from Thursday through the weekend I believe they said. Finally caught them open tonight and stopped by to try them out. The Strawberry and Caramel filled Churros were very good as well as the Strawberry shaved ice. Ice was more of a snow cone consistency vs shaved but it was really good. Our favorite is the Condensed Milk! The interplay between the crispy cinnamon, the fried dough, the granulated sugar, and the lechera is out of this world!
