I tried this place because I saw it when I was in the Brooks shopping plaza. I'm so glad I did, this is the best BBQ I have had that was not in somebody's backyard. I got the Brisket dinner, with mac and cheese, and baked beans, and also ordered the cornbread waffle. I ordered the waffle thinking it was just a piece of cornbread cooked in a waffle iron. NOPE!!! It was a whole dang waffle, I laughed at myself thinking otherwise. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring and a delicious bark with the flavor of the wood emanating from it. The smoke ring was so pretty, I almost thought the owner was trying to propose to me using his smoked brisket. Mac and cheese, baked beans... He had Mama and Grandmama back in the kitchen cooking. The flavour and seasoning were awesome, creamy cheese, in the mac, and bits of BBQ meat in the baked beans.
