McDonald's — Restaurant in Albemarle

Went in on 9/3/2014 during lunch. Should have known when I saw a lot of customers standing and waiting on their orders. I ordered the #10 meal (a wrap). After 15 mins of waiting I got a 10-piece chicken nugget meal. Not wanting to spend another 15 mins waiting for food I just took it and didn't say anything. There was no "sorry for the wait", or anything like that. A few minutes later I was still hungry and went back to order the $1 McChicken. After I had ordered, I waited for about 5 minutes (the only customer in the line), a few more customers came in, ordered, and got their food. I was still standing there waiting on my $1 sandwich. After about 5 more minutes the cashier asked me, "What you waitin' on?". I told her the McChicken. She tossed one on the counter and walked away. Poor, poor customer service, all the way around. Slow, slow, and slower. Where was the manager? This McDonalds won't have to worry about my shadow darkening their door any more. I'll go to the Burger King...

Clean Restaurant, Employees were the Greatest People In A Restaurant Setting that I have run across in YEARS!! ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE RESPECTFUL FAST , HAD AN ISSUE AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED QUICKLY AND TO SATISFACTION WITHOUT AN ISSUES. THEY SEEN THEMSELVES THAT IT WAS A PROBLEM AND IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT AS AN ISSUE THAT COULD NOT BE HELPED VERY FAST BUT THEY OFFERED AN ADDITIONAL ITEM WITHOUT US EVEN SAYING A WORD. THEY ALL TOOK THEIR JOBS SERIOUSLY AND WITH DIGNITY. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED AND THEY ALL DESERVE SOMETHING SPECIAL ❤️ FOR ALL OF THEIR EFFORTS. I WAS PROUD OF THEM AND IM NOT THE EASIEST PERSON TO IMPRESS IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS. I HAVE 37 YEARS RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE AND I HAVEN'T SEEN A CREW LIKE THEM IN MANY MANY YEARS!! Everytime we visit the McDonald's on East Main St, Albemarle 28001, the service is very good, friendly and courteous. I really would like to thank them as yesterday (3/4/24), the employees went up and beyond the usual customer service. My wife had inadvertently put her cell phone on the tray, not knowing this and both of us being busy with our 23 mo. old granddaughter, you can say a major oopsy occured. After getting home, my wife realized her phone was missing. I went back to McDonald's and asked and the employees were tremendously helpful as the phone was in the garbage along with the refuse.
