Stingy. My boyfriend and I paid for 2 drink, he usually likes the pumpkin flavor so thatās what he got, but when he tried it he said it was not good at all. We went around and told the barista and she told us they cannot swap out our drink without us having to pay for an extra drink, she said if it wasnāt made incorrectly then they canāt. I was so confused because this has never happened and we are regulars. Might as well go else where if they canāt even do a nice customer service gesture and swap out a drink that tasted horrible, especially when it was a one time thing because the drink really tasted bad⦠Ridiculous; but I guess this is a new caribou thing at many of their locations. Apparently they canāt remake a nasty drink you donāt like but instead make you pay again. I have never heard of such a thing from any coffee shop or experienced such stingy service. The baristas were nice and I donāt blame them personally for doing their jobs, but caribou in general with their new āpoliciesā sucks. I have never had this issue at any other coffee shop. Iām a rewards member and typically buy 3 drinks on the daily and reload hundreds onto my app and they give me an issue over getting one measly poorly made drink remade or swapped- thats not very good customer service especially for a regular. Taking our business elsewhere where they can provide a normal customer service courtesy- my entire family was so disappointed as well, but I guess we will just go elsewhere from now on. Any other coffee shop I have been to has never and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdit: Sent an email as requested to the email they provided. Received an automated ticket response saying someone will get back to me soon. Then a couple of days later I received a survey for an Andover locationā¦.? I filled it out, noting that I was expecting a survey for the location I had actually been to. Iāve never been to a caribou in Andover. The GM from that location reached out to me with a really confusing explanation. Iāve since responded to her because I am SO confused about whatās going on. Also have not had a response to my ticket and itās been 4 days. Not a great look Caribou.
Husband went to get coffee and breakfast on 3/21 at about 8:00-8:15 am. He ordered a vanilla cappuccino and a dark roast coffee, and two breakfast sandwiches. He was given two dark roast coffees and no receipt. He said the first girl who gave him the coffee said āhereās your first coffeeā instead of what theyāre supposed to say which is āhereās your xyz coffee.ā Canāt even dispute this because he wasnāt given a receipt. Avoid this location at all costs. The one down the street by Speedway is WAYYYYYY better. Their employees at least donāt have an attitude 99% of the time and donāt mess up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDriving through town and needed breakfast. Normally I'm a Starbucks girl, but thought I'd give Caribou drive thru a try. I ordered the ice caramel crafted pressed coffee, chocolate croissant, and blueberry muffin. I pay for my order. The cashier hands me 2 paper bags (croissant and muffin), I turn to grab my drink and realize it's a cold pressed coffee. "I didn't order that. I ordered the ice caramel cold pressed coffee." My bad! First time here and I said the beverage name wrong. "That's a cold pressed coffee, and this is a caramel craft press." "I didn't want this," I told her and tried to hand it back. "Unfortunately I can't take it back." "Um ..ok." she hands me the caramel CRAFTED PRESSED coffee and shuts the window. No refund; no receipt! Now, I paid for a drink I DIDN'T WANT and won't drink. If this is how Caribou coffee does business, I'm sticking with Starbucks. Chocolate croissant - crispy, chocolatey, delicious but very buttery. Butter was seeping through the paper bag and on my fingers. Blueberry muffin - soft, can taste the yummy blueberries, but very crumbly. Crumbs all over my lap. Ice caramel CRAFT PRESSED coffee - watery and bland. Not impressed....
