I had a great experience here today. It wasn't that busy and the atmosphere was quiet and clean. Service was perfect. The front of the house was being run by a young woman, probably in her twenties. I think her name is Tori. She was great. Friendly, took my order correctly, and checked on me throughout the meal. Just very pleasant. Food was great. I had a Thai tea, beef spring rolls, and lab esan entrée. Tea was really good. Spring rolls were fantastic! The lab esan was a dish I had never had before, but excellent. Fresh, crunchy lettuce and Cucumbers. Very spicy and juicy ground beef dish. I loved it.

Excellent food, and service, though they were busy, and there was only one guy working all the tables, (hiring) but he still did a good job. Food is always so good! I had Pad si-ew and my husband had Sesame chicken. So flavorful. Lots of families/single parents there with school age children. Friendly atmosphere, casual, but nice. Large window lets in a lot of light, with beautiful plants I enjoyed sitting by. Conversation at all the tables. In the mall near Coborns. Good, consistent quality of food and service for years. I recommend it!

This was the second time we tried Hong Thai in Albertville. The other locations were good so figured it was just one bad experience. Nope, I ordered the pad thai and figured you can't mess that up. Well it's no where near a pad thai flavor and to top it off, there was a strip of metal in the noodles that I bit into. 100% would not recommend.

I love Hong Thai and have been going there for many years. The food is amazing and I have recommended it to others many times. I called ahead and asked if they could put in an order because I had an appointment and anted to have them start the food so there wouldn’t be such a long wait. She refused to do that or even offer to do it as a pickup order and we could just eat there etc. So then we get there and order our food I order the same thing every time. She brings it out and we are completely missing an order of food. She wrote everything down, yet somehow managed to completely eliminate my meal from the order. There were three of us and we ordered three dishes and she brought two of the three we ordered. Then one of the dishes was made wrong she added broccoli to our pad Thai. Then I asked if I could pay and gave her the credit card and she said I had to pay at the counter. I have a serious back injury and I’m having surgery Monday. I was sitting on a pillow I brought from home which should be a giveaway. I said it would be nice if you would please walk the 4 feet to the desk since it’s hard on me to stand for any period of time. She gave me a rude look and ignored my request and much later decided to take payment. I asked her where my food I ordered for me was and she said some excuse like since my boyfriend ordered food that everything I ordered and verbalized to her that I wanted was unnecessary to make. I did not enjoy my experience and I wanted what I ordered but since the close at 8 and we had somewhere to be I never got the dinner I came for. Was all very annoying and unpleasant. She also didn’t offer a resolve like here is a coupon for next visit or something to make the situation less obnoxious. Which I owned three businesses in my life and if it was my business I have the opinion that you go above and beyond for your customers because at the end of the day they are the ones putting food on your table. Not the...

With the high reviews, we were expecting some awesome Thai food! We ordered crispy shrimp, spicy wings, drunken noodles, & curry fried rice. Our waitress asked what spice level we'd like. We said 'Hot.' The Crispy Shrimp was probably the only decent food we had, although it has too strong of a lemon grass flavor which I think may possibly have been from the dipping sauce? Spicy wings were not spicy, but drenched in sauce that just tasted like vinegar. Drunken noodles were bland and super vinegar-like taste. The curry fried rice was hard, burnt, & also tasted very vinegary. When the waitress asked what could've been better, she answered that when you up the spice level, it's the spicy garlic sauce that's increased, therefore we should've gotten just red pepper flakes. Well had we known that first, I guess I would've opted for the red pepper flakes? But there's no point in choosing a spice level because it wasn't even spicy. Instead you're just adding more vinegar to your food. Growing up eating my family's authentic Thai food, I will say this is false advertising and definitely NOT authentic! Will never come here again. And we did not receive a discount at all. There was so much food left over because it was not edible enough to take home to enjoy later. They definitely don't care about their customer's...

I have half a mind to write multiple reviews on each dish. Easily the best Chinese/Thai restaurant I've been to. Believe me when I say I'm an authority as I've eaten here on average once a week for the last 3 years. Drunken noodle. Just do it. Close second place is the spicy noodle with basil and the spicy rice with basil. Pad Thai is next up for me. My only complaint is it's a bit dry, but maybe the dish is supposed to be that way. Taste is still amazing. Oh you want egg rolls? Guess what. Also the best you've ever had. Trust me. The pho (guay tiaw) is great. All the curry dishes and panang are amazing. I could go on, but there really isn't a dish here I can say I didn't like. OH lastly, and super important... I effing love spicy. Every take out place I've gone too, I ask to please make it stupid spicy...and it's a joke. This place, get the 5 star when you order... You will cry...
