I’ve been coming to this airport for 34 years. I get the green chili chicken soup every time I come. I will say that the quality and consistency of the soup has not remained consistent throughout the years but at the end of the day I just love that spicy broth, and I have always brought a container with which to bring extra home. I telleveryone about the soup and I brag on it wherever I go when Albuquerque gets brought up into conversation. Today, however, the young gentleman working the register initially told me I couldn’t have what I wanted, which was four bowls of soup, and then proceeded to tell the two women behind me they could not order more than one bowl. He was EXASPERATED at the request. Honestly. Several exaggerated sighs and looks of disdain and acted like we were completely putting him out. Ultimately, he settled on each of us getting two bowls and allowed me to get a third albeit not filling the containers fully. All the while acting like you guys were completely out of soup; and that my request was completely unattainable and beyond unusual. I mean, if you’re out of soup then, so be it, just tell me that. But that was not what he said and did I mention It was 9 AM in the morning? I’ve been ordering 4 bowls of soup for as long as I can remember. I am a paying customer and was being treated as though I was getting the soup for free and was asking for too much. Since when is there a limit? You advertise for the soup all over the airport. But you’ve only got enough for seven bowls?

As my bad luck would have it when I got back to the gate I dropped my soup and the containers broke on the floor. Suffice it to say I was beyond frustrated, and the captain flying the flight to Dallas saw me drop the soup and unbeknownst to me, went back to the restaurant to purchase a replacement. When he showed up to get more soup they offered him all the soup he wanted. Seriously. He ordered one bowl and the girl now working the register said “are you sure only 1?” Can you tell me why was I treated so differently? Absolutely maddening. AND… I will say that while it does still taste delicious the amount of chicken and vegetables to broth ratio was about 3 to 1 on the broth side. And again only 3/4 of the way filled. Not really worth the nine dollars being charged for it. Very disappointing experience all...

I decided to eat here during dinner hours on 19 Oct 2023 because there weren't too many "healthier" options in this airport. Although Panda Express sounded good at the time, I didn't want to eat something like that right before I have to sit for over an hour on the plane.

I was actually shocked with the sandwich I ordered (Southwest Chicken Artisan Sandwich); I expected something of lower quality...not sure why but my expectations are always lower towards airport restaurants. I also didn't want to go too off path of normalcy, so I just ordered a bag of chips and a drink with my sandwich. I was a little bummed out that they ran out of Powerade because I wanted something other than water or coffee, but didn't want soda either. But, I didn't lose sleep over it either.

The prices at this place are adequate - I know some may have issues with how much things cost at this restaurant, but I don't think people are realizing they're eating at an airport. Typically event centers, stadiums, airports, etc., are always going to increase their prices so this should never be surprising to anyone these days.

Overall, I liked this place (nothing to highlight or boast about). I don't pass through ABQ airport often...in fact, I think this was only my third time visiting this airport. But if you plan on flying out of this airport or arriving to this airport, and are hungry during either flight direction, I would recommend this place to you. If I'm ever passing through this airport again, I'll be sure to eat here once more...

Absolutely awful. My boyfriend ordered the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich. It was missing more than one of the ingredients listed on the menu. So dry. A toddler could make a better sandwich. I ordered the soup and half sandwich combo. My soup was so hot, it took forever to cool down, which when you have limited time before boarding your flight, makes it a bit difficult. My half sandwich was the Santa Fe BLT. Again, dry. No avocado spread, no green chiles. 1/3 of the ingredients listed were missing. And all of this cost over $25.... disgusting. And on top of it all, it took 25 minutes to get our food!!!!! Leaving us barely any time to eat before heading to our gate. I recommend not going there. Worst service...

The bagel with cream cheese was slightly below my expectations: the cream cheese was given in one of those small packets, instead of already spread. I get it that for customers who might want to eat the bagel at a later time, that would make more sense. But I wanted to eat right away and so I guess they could have asked. Furthermore, one single packet was barely enough to spread on half of the bagel. So, this was at best 3 ⭐. The iced coffee was standard, not good, not bad. The saving grace was a large sitting area with plenty of tables. And there were electrical outlets, which were useful to me to use my laptop.

The only food open at ABQ, with long flights and short layovers thought I better get something. Long line, of course, took about 30 min to get a sandwich. No paninis, nothing special today, hurry and order. Admittedly my fault for not stopping the avocado spread, but it had literally turned to mud by the time I got on plane and the order wasn’t right, either. Over $17 for a sandwich and a bottle of water, it’s astounding. I get the lines, glad they were trying, but this felt so disappointing for such a wait and so much money!! If you’re going to ABQ bring your own food.
