We are Wyndham rewards members and saw that the Ramada was by the ABQ airport, offered free airport shuttle and a reasonable priced room. We arrived around 2pm Friday and asked about reserving a shuttle ride to the airport to catch our 6am flight, both during our reservation & during check-in. The people at front desk, clerk & manager, both said that the shuttle does not start until 7am. We asked if there was any way that they could make accommodations since the website does not specify that the airport shuttle only runs during certain times. The manager said he could see what he could do, but that it wouldn’t be prudent to have someone come in at 4am to drive us to the airport because he didn’t have the payroll for that. He took our phone number and said he would call us if he could get someone to drive the shuttle or not. We did not hear back from him all day Saturday, so we called customer service to explain and they also would not help us get a shuttle to the airport or give us a refund of any kind. Went back to the front desk and spoke to a different manager and she was quite rude when explaining that she would not give us a refund or try to help us get a shuttle to the airport. Then she said it would only cost us $15 for a ride share, we told her we have a lot of luggage so it would cost us over $20 for a ride, which is ridiculous since we booked this hotel specifically for the free airport shuttle. She said she couldn’t refund us due to paying by 3rd party and we told her we booked via our Wyndham Rewards App not a 3rd party and then she said she’d refund us $18 +tax for the ride share. We decided to gather our bags and ordered a ride share at 4pm and slept at the airport. This was beyond poor customer service and poor business. If your hotel is by the airport and advertises free shuttle to the airport which is only a mile away, barely a 3 minute drive, then you need to have the hotel staffed to offer that shuttle ride. The earliest flights from the ABQ airport start at 5:30am and people book hotels near the airport for convenience and rely on the shuttle services. This is just the shuttle issue! The room was not even okay by my standards. It smelled like it had recently been smoked in and covered up by a lot of cleaning solutions. The bed is very uncomfortable and we were only provided w 2 pillows that were completely flat. The hotel is so outdated that the outlets all look burned out. Some tv channels did not work, stating poor connection. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work, we had to go buy a bar of soap to shower. The vending machine does not offer water as a choice for purchase, luckily the front desk gave us a couple bottles. That was the only nice thing they did...
Read moreThis place is nasty 🤢🤮 I've been staying at this Motel on and off for a year mostly cause I work down the road. They really need management that cares about the customer's and the property. Under new manager Brian, their is two Girls with green hair One is part of management the other is a clark. So when ever there was a problem they do not help the guests in problem solving. They mostly just stand there and look at you, I informed the younger green hair girl I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in both kneecaps. I would need to stay on the first floor. Now I could stay on another floor but the elevator has never worked since I've been coming here ice machine never work either a very poorly kept Motel. On One occasion the younger green hair girl put me on a first floor room but the T.V was not working had a black screen. She said there was no other rooms I had stayed two nights they did leave notes to the Clark stating the guests had already reported it but she still rented it to me knowing their was a problem with the t.v. another stay same thing happened t.v out of order just lines across the screen. Side note the t.v in the lobby always is working for Clark's and management . I also reported too management that they had drug activity going on at the motel people coming and going through out the late hours of the night. The best and only thing about this motel is the breakfast It is great . They have little lounge chairs that have nasty stains on them some even look like blood. They have been closing motels just like this for the filthiness and drug activity. I suspect this one is lined Up next if they don't clean it up and do some remodeling soon but I will never stay here at this motel again. P.s their animated charges dose what it wants and if it over charges you, they can't and won't reverse it your just out of luck until it corrects itself with your bank. So make sure you pay attention to your changes. Read moreMy friend rented a room for the two of us the 27th of February 2024 thru March 1st 2024. Our first impression was excellent. The room looked great and seemed to be very clean and modern, however 2 days into our stay a milkshake was spilled on one of the beds which initiated me having to remove the bed sheets and mattress cover in order to wash them. What I discovered on the mattress that I had spent the last two nights on was horrifying and completely disgusting 🫣 There was a tremendous amount of dried blood stains all over the mattress and down the sides. We immediately stripped the other bed and found that there was two decent sized blood stains on that mattress as well. This cleary wasn't due to a minor cut by any means, but more like a horrifying struggle where someone bled to death. We contacted the front desk and was basically disregarded. We were told that they could offer a 10% discount on a future booking and that they couldn't do more then that because we didn't make them aware of the problem right away and give them a chance to correct it. How were we supposed to know that we were sleeping on top of a strangers dried blood puddle? If we hadn't spilled a milkshake we might have never known. However, there is no way that they weren't aware of the condition of thier mattresses. Someone made that bed at some point and someone should be held accountable. We spent the rest of the night sleeping sitting up on the couch in our room that appeared fairly new and free of any blood. The staff should be ashamed of themselves for the way they handled the situation and even more ashamed for blaming us for not giving them a chance to correct a problem that we weren't responsible for to begin with 🤬 As petty as it seems after our bloody mattress situation, i must also comment on the lady running the breakfast buffet in the morning who does not make you feel welcome whatsoever and instead points at you sternly saying "YOU....WHAT ROOM ARE YOU IN?" and stares you down like you are robbing her kitchen cabinets 🙄My friend and i are shocked and appalled with our experience and will be calling Wyndahm first thing monday...
