Of all the dozens of breweries that ABQ has in the city, High and Dry is my favorite. They don’t distribute there beer which makes the place more special to come. Their beers have a taste in the beer that makes the place so distinct in taste compare to other breweries in ABQ. My favorite beer they have is there flagship Ghost of the Moon pale ale. They have multiple interesting rotations going from a most tasty Cerveza and Octoberfest that out rivals all the other breweries that struggle to put more personality into the beers. Tonight the unique beer is a smoked wheat that was once again one of the most interesting beers I’ve ever tasted and very much enjoyed. Like a beer to drink when eating grilled meats. It was delicious! The vibe here has always been good with live music on different nights and sociable bartenders. Please support your...
Read moreI used to love this bar. Had been there probably 100 times I spent a lot of money. I’ve always tipped well. I had a relationship with many of the bartenders there on one occasion I had a couple of beers and I was having a great time with my friends live band and I was cut off. I was confused as to why, and I questioned it. There was absolutely no other incident other than me questioning why I was being cut off I’ve always been an excellent customer. I’m a very polite person and I was being very nice. I was just confused. I left and I went back two months later today and I’ve had been banned from this bar horrible management horrible way to treat regular customers who spend a lot of money and take care of your staff very disappointed. I wouldn’t bother going here if you wanna...
Read moreHigh and Dry brewing is exactly what ABQ needs. While I am still hoping to try their signature IPA's, their Pale and Seasonal Brown ales stick in my mind as some of the best beer I have had lately. The atmosphere is also very inviting with their two dynamite food trucks and distinct rooms to fit the mood you are in. This atmosphere gives rise to a diverse range of patrons, truly as their motto states, "A spot for everyone". Looking forward to going back the next time I am in ABQ.
Side note - also for those visiting grab a breakfast burrito down the road at Hurricanes, Christmas style for a uniquely...
