I’ve had the opportunity to visit this place a few times while on business trips here in ABQ. First thing I’ll say is that thus far, on the occasions that I’ve dropped by, the service was great. I’ve seen some of the other reviews about baristas being apathetic but I’ve yet to experience that. Everyone has always been either very nice or nice enough that I haven’t noticed it as a bother. This goes for the location off of Central? as well. Second and most important to me is the fact that the coffee is just so damn delicious. I truly enjoy getting my coffee here bc of the quality but also because their 16oz lattes come with three shots - how great. Not many other coffee shops do that. Perhaps one other that I’ve visited in Albuquerque does but it’s rare. However, rare is it may be, it is very much appreciated - please dont change that. Lastly, the vibe inside and out is nice and comfortable. With a mixture of different seating, and on nice sunny days, not too difficult finding a spot to sit down and enjoy that roast. Thank you!

The establishment looked okay during our visit. Not greeted, just asked. "what can I get for you"? Not terrible but certainly not a warm greeting. The tables were not dirty per se but not all of them were wiped down. The outside seating could use some refurbishing. The area where we sat could've certainly used some sanding and resealing. No splinters but I wouldn't recommend anyone running their hand on the tabletop. The beverages were ok. We ordered a breve cappuccino: the shots tasted good, but I felt like I was served a basic breve latte instead. Iced matcha latte was decent tasting. The lemon raspberry muffing was the highlight. Moist, lemony and the raspberry shined through. Lastly the water cups that are being used need some attention. They are made of some sort of metal. I'm grateful they had free water but the cups need to be better kept. The inside looked like it had some sort of rust? This was a bit disconcerting to see. Overall a 3 ⭐ review.

The space in the shop is great, decent seating and whatnot. I love that they partner with local vendors for ingredients! Coffee was and pastry were good, but the burrito we had was cold. We even tried to get it warmed up again and they gave us a new one, but the center was just not getting warm. There was a nice girl working that took our order, she was sweet and polite, but the other guy working just seemed like he didn't want to be there. I've seen other reviews mention a guy barista that is rude/mean too, so maybe it's the same guy.

Their iced coffee is very good; it lacks that bitter taste that the iced coffee at many local shops seem unable to avoid - and the bitterness that some of the 1 star reviewers seem with which to be fraught.

I wrote the first paragraph several months ago, and after returning to Humble on a dozen or more occasions since - I am pleased to say that this place is still as great as it was the first time I patronized the establishment. Their cold brew is my favorite. They have really interesting and delicious pastries that are made locally and delivered fresh (from what I understand), both sweet and savory. I have enjoyed the donuts and the scones.

This place can get really busy at peak hours and sometimes there aren't any tables available inside. On nice days, one has the option of sitting outside, either in the front or the back; both areas have ample tables and chairs that can typically accommodate the high level of business that Humble is serving during those particularly busy times.

If you've actually read this far and haven't already decided between going to a local, comfortable, easy-going, supportive coffee-shop or just driving up to your corporate, machine driven, multinational, uncaring, insensitive, coffee-trough that you usually visit, I implore that you make the right decision today. Make a decision that not only benefits you, but also benefits the community and the city. Make a decision that you can feel good about while you drink your fair priced cold brew and write self-deprecating poetry in your Moleskin notebook. Make that decision. The world needs more people like you, and so...

a lengthy and well deserved review:

I started coming here for the very solid espresso and drip, and continued coming for the fantastic staff. I am lucky to be on a first-name basis with them, although as a regular here, I can also confidently say that's the case with most of their clientele.

Audri, Ashlee, and Alondra are some of their younger staff and I never order from them without leaving smiling. The kindness isn't something you can teach, they're all just naturally lovely and multi-dimensional as you can get with a team. Their engagement with folks is so refreshing, and they treat everyone that walks through the door with dignity and respect.

Jules and Christian, I met earlier in this past year and they consistently are crushing it. While they both have incredibly chill/grounded demeanors, you can trust your questions will be answered down to the knitty gritty of drink composition, uncaffeinated beverages etc. When I came here to pick up drinks for some colleagues, excluding one of my guys with some particular health issues, Jules was able to craft a specific drink that very much checked the boxes. They always ask how the morning is and what I'm up to. Shoutout Jules for bringing the east coast energy and wit, too!

Would recommend these guys, big-time. Met the owner recently while he was getting coffee at this location and even that guy's a sweetie! Bunch of...
