Very disappointing. Iāve heard that the milkshakes were so rich and indulgent. The total opposite. For starters the employees are so incompetent that they canāt understand basic wants and asks. I ask if there is a possible way to do a birthday cake milkshake and they say yes. I notice they have a birthday cake ice cream cone but with strawberry. I told the cashier I hate strawberries and want nothing to do with them. She starts asking for help on how to add strawberry and I tell her a second time NO strawberry anything. Sheās says āoh okay I got it!ā So Iām like cool. My friend asks for oat milk instead of regular or almond milk and somehow she still manages to put almond??? He is highly allergic to tree nuts which is ridiculous. How does one not know how to comprehend? We finally get our drinks and my ābirthday cakeā milkshake is strawberry all around. Iām talking about sauce drizzle around the cup, strawberry dole, everything. Like how hard is it to follow simple and stern instructions. This place needs more flavor ingredients and a more intelligent staff. Because quite frankly the flavor options are undesirable by many. No classic flavors especially for milkshakes whatsoever. Do better. A...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately our experience was not good. The wait wasnāt the issue, although it was longer than we were told. Once they called our order we were so excited to go to the counter and pick up our 2 Oreo overloads and a customized Oreo cake with swirl, brownie and caramel! They were melting at the counter and the brownie bites were literally falling off on the counter as the worker got more to try to stick on, they just kept falling off. The Oreo overload was tilted and dripping on the cones and I asked is this normal and she said yes. We tried to eat them as fast as we could and it was the worst experience, what a mess. As we were leaving I asked the man at register and a women worker, is it normal for it to be a melted mess? All the pictures the ice cream is hard looking and pretty. I wanted to understand why this happened and they said it can happen. I told them that wasnāt what was advertised and spending $30 for 3 cones we wouldnāt go back. They didnāt offer a refund or gift card or anything. The man at register just put his head down and started messing with the register and they just didnāt seem to care. We left and just decided this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really enjoyed the desserts here. They are like artisan ice cream cones. I'm not really sure why they're called cakes, but they are delicious whatever you call them! We had a Mamino's Tropical Fruit and a Chocolate Nutter Butter and a Tiramisu (not pictured). Photos are after we started to dig in! The tropical fruit cone was out of this world. The cone had coconut sprinkles, it had a pineapple DoleWhip sort of sorbet, chunks of strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, and kiwi and a strawberry drizzle. No leaking or mess with ours.
The shop is really cute too. Only one very small suggestion is they should make free water available. Ice cream and sweets can make you thirsty and it's 90+ outside sometimes. A self-serve dispenser with paper cups would be great. I feel like the prices are enough that I shouldn't have to buy a bottle.
Also, there was a pretty steady stream of customers and we didn't wait too long. I saw some complaints about that, but I think that's going to happen sometimes with custom items. You're also going to get inconsistency in how they're made, which can be a bummer. Ours looked terrific and I hope they look as good...
