I feel like I'm walking into Bikini Bottom every time I go in. I love it!! And the fact it's right across the street from one of the movie studios makes it even better. This place is great! They've decorated really well, the big "nap pod" chair by the front is AMAZING! It's so comfy.. They have games for kids (and adults too I suppose). Looks like they have a little lounge area in the back..not sure if they have a gaming console or not.. either way, it's cool. The drinks are great, too! Currently having the Thai Tea..one of my fav's. The other day I had the hot chai tea. Gotta say the chai is REALLY good! Yes, it's a little out of the way, but you should make the trip. Interesting place, but nobody knows what to expect when you walk into a place called Pirate Tea. I'm not saying my order wasn't okay, but the menu wasn't entirely clear on what to expect. I personally don't like cold tea and I don't like my tea sweet. The tea is clearly premade, which is fine, I just wish that would have been made clear on the menu. The flavor of the tea was spot on in terms of the lavender, although it was super sweet. If the same tea is available hot and unsweetened, the option was not made available or asked how it was preferred. What a hidden gem my fiancee and I have discovered! Just doing a drive by and out of curiosity we stopped. Thinking it was more a shop that sold loose leaf tea but rather they sell boba teas and other Aaar-mazing drinks!! And what delicious concoctions they have too! We tried their Purple Pea lemonade which was perfectly iced and sweetened to taste, not overly sugary. And also the brown sugar milk tea which I'd say is my favorite at the moment.
