McDonald's — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I would like to just say that this particular McDonald’s is very good and one of my favorite McDonalds to attend for a quick cheap bite. Staff is very friendly and they do an excellent job. I also read a review from a “Maximum Taco” saying how the employees were leaving at 11:15pm. They then began stating that the McDonald’s was closing “45 minutes early” when in fact they close at 11pm. So for those wanting honest reviews on this specific location of establishment, it’s very clean and friendly and they do in fact close on time. I’d also like to take some time to dedicate a shout out to a particular newish employee I started to notice there whose name I always forget to look at on his name tag. This employee has dyed black hair and it is a silver like white at this tips and wears glasses. He is very friendly and seeming to learn quickly on what’s going on. I like that they’re hiring people like him who are obviously hard working and dedicated to providing excellent customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work young man! I hope his managers are treating him well, because from someone who worked in fast food I know some managers can be rough, especially to good workers like him who they will take advantage of. Food was very fresh and correct temperature. I could get use to this. Normally I have to reheat at home even though I pick up at drive thru. Staff was very friendly.

Update 1/11/24 Don't go here declining in customer service. Have had several bad experiences over he last 6 months thinking it would change as people working there would also change Problem is with whoever owns and operates this store not employees. Had to order this single item as app does not allow for feedback. Placed an online app order Check-in#PQ66-7811814. Drove 7 mins to pick up the order. Sat in a very long line waiting on food. At window I was told to park in a spot and wait further. Waited an additional 10 mins for order. When food was brought to me the employee said they were waiting on burritos. No picante sauce was provided had to go inside and ask for it. to Total time to wait for food was 35 mins. Food should be ready upon pick up 35 too much time to prepare food. This store does not use the app correctly resulting in cold food and a long delay for the food to be given to the customer. This store fails to make any improvements in...

Very slow drive though experience at 8pm tonight. I don't know if they were short staffed or what, but I was in the drive through line for 20 minutes and there were only 7 cars. There appeared to be only 3 employees working the windows and front area and the lady assembling orders and giving them out the drive through window was way too stressed. She needed support badly.l and has none.

I'm not trying to say that 7 cars is a small amount but that's a long wait for the privilege of giving this place my money. I rarely eat McDonald's and only rely on them for food when I'm stuck at my jobs nearby, mainly because of the speed of the drive through.

Recently, this has happened a lot at other stores too, and for all I know they aren't even the same franchisees, so since I can't rely on it anymore, I'll be looking for another speedy option.
