Sat. 5/01/21. Dunno WHY I keep returning to this business only to be disappointed bcuz of sloppy, incompetent Drive Thru Service. Seems there's a lack of training, management oversight, the youthful staffers JUST DON'T CARE, or ALL OF THE ABOVE! How difficult can it be to "READ..THEN DO"?! I've consistently received wrong orders at the Drive-thru, not to mention Waiting Times in the Drive-thru Lane that make no sense!🤨
I ordered, PAID for, then WAITED for a simple Sausage, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich at the Drive-thru. Then, I pulled over in the Parking Lot to check the Order b4 leaving (learned from past experiences) and the sandwich had NOT THE SLIGHTEST HINT OF SAUSAGE ON IT!!🤬 Spent another 10 min going back thru the Drive-thru to get the sandwich REDONE, and then having to park in one of those 'We Wasted Your Time' parking spaces b4 they walk the item out to the car! I plan to travel to aNUTHA (ABQ NM) Panera Bread Co. location next time. Can't honestly say I'd recommend the Drive-thru at THIS location at Coors & St. Joseph's (NW ABQ NM) to friends and family. Too unpredictable..😕👎
Saturday 24Apr2021. Drive thru visit today. Only TWO cars ahead of me, but it took about TEN minutes to get to the Pickup Window!😮🤔 Staffer at cash register was very polite and courteous. Didn't notice there were no napkins in the bag until I pulled off.😖 My 'Bacon, Egg & Cheese' breakfast sandwich looked hastily made, but tasted fine..once I added some of MY OWN honey mustard sauce on it!
The Drive Thru Lane at this location can get congested rather quickly bcuz the 'design' of the parking lot doesn't seem very well thought-out.
One-way-in! SAME-way-out! Cars in the Drive Thru Lane often BLOCK those cars trying to EXIT the Panera Bread Co. parking lot, not to mention the backup of traffic that's sometimes caused on the access street (to the restaurant's lot) during busier periods! I wonder if the Staff inside the restaurant has the advantage of a surveillance camera outside, directed at this 'potential' for a collision in their parking lot..?? 😖
For whatever the reason, the Drive Thru Lane (during certain times), doesn't move fast enough to help prevent Parking Lot CONGESTION at this restaurant.👎👎👎 Management should pay particular attention to this concern!
Sunday 07Feb2021. Ordered a (Drive-thru) Cinnamon Swirl bagel to be toasted EXTRA CRUNCHY (New York style) and GOT IT!! 👏👏👏
When I added some of their Reduced Fat Honey Walnut Cream Cheese Spread to that crispy Cinnamon Swirl bagel, I was 'King of the Bagel World'! 👑
Deelicioso!
Here's Five Stars to THIS crew at Panera Bread (Coors Blvd NW & St. Joseph's Dr. NW) for getting it...
Read more5/14/24 id like to update my previous review. I rarely go to panera bread anymore but was glutten for punishment so i thought what the heck. I ordered the cheese broc soup. It was their saving grace . I asked if they included the bread with the soup he said yes but got home and it was a bag of chips. I also ordered the 1/2 green goddes sandwich. why do i have expectations? It was bread some red type of tomato or pepper and a ton of the green goddess dressing. For over $13.00 for the 2 items it was so disapointing. I can see that panera bread is on their way out. Sad, if they would serve a quality product and hire staff who know how to properly fill an order in a timely manor i wouldnt mind paying the 13 bucks and they would be successful. Its easy serve a quality product don't gouge the customer, be friendly. train your staff properly, and be prompt. Thats is what equals a thriving business. Chic filet has it figured out. perhaps the CEO of panera bread should go thru chic filets drive thru and take notes. Just a suggestion. 09/13/20 So thought I'd give this Panera bread another try. Very dumb on my part. Unfortunately I'm not surprised that they didn't In clude my soup with my order. My daughter picked the order up and brought it home so it wasn't discovered that the soup was left out until she got home. Tried to call no answer. They don't care. They are a multi million $ Corporation so why should they care if I never go back? I'll call tomorrow. Probably get called a Karen and they will spit in my soup before I get there. Oh yaaa.
Good thing I checked my order before I pulled away. 1 bowl of soup and 2 Apple juices were missing.. She gave me the apple juice but insisted the soup was there. It was not. I pointed out that they had shorted me nearly 1/2 of my over priced order. She said that's on them. Meaning her coworkers makingbthe food. Like isn't it her responsibility to make sure all that was ordered is there? I said no it's on you. She shut the window and started talkingvto co workers what I said. They all pretended not to look at me. I sat there for a moment expecting somebody to come appologize. Good thing I wasn't holding my breath. So I honked. I assume it was the manager came to the window and wanted to know what I wanted. Seriously!. I said nearly half my order was missing. If I hadn't of checked I'd have gotten home and been without. Instead of shutting the window and walking away the proper thing would have bern to appologize at the very least. He says oh sorry. What is wrong with people these days? And customer service? What's that?...
Read moreI know it is hard to find employees now but I'd rather wait longer and have a pleasant interaction than deal with a surly person who obviously doesn't want to be at work. I went with a friend for lunch this week. I ordered a full salad and a drink. Even after three swipes I couldn't get my rewards card to work and the cashier stood there impatiently, offering no assistance. I paid $15 by card and then saw the sign reminding me of the $1 pastry with a meal purchase. I said I'd like a cookie and gave her a $10 bill. She handed me back $6 and change. I asked why it was a $3 cookie instead of $1 and she said I couldn't get the discount because I had already paid for the meal. All during this interchange she was holding my drink cup with her index finger on the inside of the cup. I'm not real squeamish but during Covid, that was definitely noticed. My gluten-free friend ordered next and requested chips instead of bread. When she received her order, it had bread. She took it back to the cashier and asked for chips. Without ever looking up, the girl grabbed a bag of chips and threw them at my friend. If we could have spotted a manager, we would have said something but there was no one around. I love Panera but I won't be going back...
