I visit this Starbucks location multiple times a week. The staff has always been friendly and has never had a problem with my orders. Today, I don't know what happened. I pull through the drive-thru and order my coffee per usual - Iced coffee with cream and coconut milk, cinnamon dolce syrup, and cinnamon powder on top. On the screen it said cinnamon dolce topping. I let the woman taking my order know I wanted the cinnamon powder rather than the cinnamon dolce topping. She then erased the order that was on the screen and repeated what she thought my order was; it was wrong. She indicated I placed my order weird and I replied "I place my order the same way all the time, and it has never been a problem, so please don't be like that with me." I proceeded to say my order again. She cut me off and said "that's fine, we will see you up here." I drove up to the window, a gentleman handed me my drink and I let him know I was going to try my coffee before I left because it looked really light; he said it was fine and to let him know if it needed to be remade. Sure enough, after trying my drink, I asked for it to be remade, and I explained to him that it tasted like milk. The gentleman was about to turn around to go have my drink remade and the woman that took my order was walking up to the window shouting "What happened, what's wrong with the drink." She made her way to the front of the window and took the drink out of the gentleman's hands and let me know they "would remake the drink, but I ordered it weird" and that "she was only the way she was to me because of the way I was to her" I said okay and smiled as I looked forward in my car because I know she was proud of herself for getting the last word. The gentleman then told me to park in the front of the building, and they would bring the drink out to me. A different young lady brought me my coffee. I tried it, and it tasted like it had been sitting there for two hours and had watered down. I needed to get to work, so instead of going inside and asking for my coffee to be remade AGAIN- I left and called the store. When I called and asked for a manager, I said "I was just there. I ordered the iced coffee, and I am sure you already heard about the incident, but the coffee was not good." I also asked "if she could put my name down for a remake." She was very monotone and I could tell she definitely took her employees' side, which is fine. She said she put my name down, but honestly, I never want to visit that location again. Read moreI should have read the reviews before choosing this starbucks location, because 1 barista was extremely rude to me although I did not get her name. I went thru the drive-thru originally & ordered 4 drinks 1 of my drinks was incorrect, so they told me they would remake it & for me to pull around to the front of the store. I did & when the barista came out my drink was wrong again, I told her I'm sorry (even though I shouldn't have had to apologize for their mistake) but that's not what I ordered I then told her my correct order, she rolled her eyes and went back inside. She came out the 2nd time & again my drink was wrong. I apologized again & said I'm sorry but that's wrong again & again told her the drink I wanted. She again rolled her eyes & this time slammed the front entrance door. So I went inside & asked for a refund because they just couldn't get my drink right & I was being treated disrespectfully, but the barista who was rolling her eyes told the lady helping me not to give me a refund & instead give me a gift card. We ordered their barista special “DJ” which was written on their board near the ordering board and the drink which should have been an iced shaken espresso, sub pumpkin spice, sub oatmilk. (They didn’t even ask what size)
We got a venti Mango dragon fruit light ice…. (She handed it to us, we thought “Uhmmm okay????”)
2nd drink ordered: grande iced caramel macchiato.
We got handed a grande strawberry cream frapp.
The girl handed the 2nd drink and my husband then told her “this isn’t at all what we ordered”
The girl replies “oh well you said strawberry and so we talked about it and that’s what you ordered.”
My husband says “no I didn’t even say strawberry.”
The girl responds with, “well that is what you ordered, we all talked about it.”
I’m sorry, but if they made a mistake on our order or misunderstood, why wouldn’t they listen to us and make it better?
