Donut Mart — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Always disappointed. I don't know why I keep going back... perhaps it's because the owner really makes you feel like you are heard. So I go back to see if my verbal recommendations are ever heard. Nope, never.

1. they never have the Green Chili Bailey. They claim that they always run out. But i am starting to think they don't make it everyday. And when they do, it's less then a dozen. Einstein Bagels never seems to run out of the Green Chili bagels. Basically, Donut Mart is missing the market. 2) their donuts taste and dense like underbaked cake. I guess I should stick with Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. 3) the other bagels are super dense and flat. Seems that they over knead the dough or rush to bake the bagels before the dough rises.

The service I received from Peggy this morning left tears in my eyes! I originally went to Dublin because that’s what my husband wanted for Father’s Day. The man in line in front of me overheard me telling my son what kind of donuts his dad wanted and looked right at me as he told the worker he wanted every last one of the kind my husband wanted. I was so upset that I left. When we went to donut mart they were low on donuts from a large order but still had one of the donuts he wanted so it was great! I told her about what happened at Dunkin and Peggy walked straight to the back and made a single strawberry glazed donut for my son to give to his dad for Father’s Day! The kindness of that single donut is exactly what my son and I needed this morning! I cannot thank her enough for showing that good people...

As a loyal donut mart customer who moved away from this location and then back to this area of town I am so glad to be back to in the neighborhood of the Coors and Sequoia Donut Mart. After not being back in a while I was pleased to see the renovations to the inside, including a larger coffee station, TV, and some new finishes. The employees at Donut Mart are always friendly, get me my food fast, and consistent... Donut Mart's food is tasty, and their coffee brewed correctly (Including Iced Coffee- which I particularly love because they offer flavored liquid sugar sweeteners to add) One truly cannot beat the quality, speed, and experience of Donut Mart for the cost they offer.
