I ordered a pizza online through the website at 1:36pm, it quoted 30-40 minutes, however when I ordered, the delivery time was stated to be 2:45pm. The pizza was marked as being prepared at around 2:00pm, however never changed from that status. I called the restaurant number at 2:55pm and asked to cancel the order. I was eventually transferred directly to the restaurant, where first I was told that the order had been given to Doordash 30 minutes prior, and then that was changed to 10 minutes prior. I was told that the order should still be on the way. I told the person I talked to (I do have the name) that I would give it another 10 minutes and then call back. 5 minutes later I got a call and immediate hang up from Doordash ( I also have the number from this.) I called the number back and spoke to a female who told me the order was at Pizza Hut. I questioned this and she asked me to hold on and then hung up on me. I attempted to call her back and she did not answer. I then called the restaurant back and spoke to the same person, who told me that the Doordash person was in the lobby. He then offered me a $10 credit on my next order. I asked him if the order was being cancelled and refunded- as I never received it and he said yes and then hung up-no confirmation number given. I contacted the chat function on the pizza hut website, who told me that someone from management would contact me in 1-3 business days. Per my credit card app, I have 2 charges for $34.77 pending from Pizza Hut, no pizza and no way to do anything about it unless I drive to the store. This is apparently a regular problem at this store and amounts to theft. They are not registered with the BBB, so there is no recourse aside from filing a report with the police if they don't return my money. Every time, the driver marks my order as “delivered” sometime around the estimated delivery time and then each one just brings the food whenever they feel like it. I thought only buying delivery orders in cash would fix the problem, but they continue to mark my orders as “delivered” when they have not been. Once it took 4 hours after my pizza was marked as “delivered.” I even wrote in the delivery instructions that if it was marked delivered when it was not, I would cancel my order this most recent time. They STILL marked it as delivered and then did not deliver it. I called Pizza Hut, got shouted down by some kid who told me it didn’t make a difference when the order was marked as delivered as long as I got it sometime. Then the driver called me (while I was in line at McDonalds, having not actually gotten a pizza). he called 15 minutes after he marked the order as delivered. Tried to guilt me into allowing him to deliver my pizza in another 30 minutes or so.(?!) he claimed he called me when he marked it as delivered earlier to try to explain why and that I did not answer. This is not true. This is supposed to be a convenience. I didn’t place an order so I could get shouted down and guilted into taking another cold pizza from this place. Maybe it’s good pizza when it’s fresh. Maybe people go crazy for their pizza and that’s why I never get a good one. But I wouldn’t know because of how awful the service is. I opened my email and touched the im here button. 620 no pizza. 4 customers entered to get there order and left I called the location was put on hold, at the 7 min mark on hold I put my mask on entered the location. There was 1 customer in front of me. I can here the phone on hold tone. The employee with purple hair helped me I told her don't worry about picking up that call on hold because I have been on hold for 10 1/2 minutes. I asked her what was the point in having contact less pickup if no ones comes out or answer's the phone. She explained they were busy, I said not my problem.
