We walked in and there wasn't a clean table to sit at. We decided to sit way in the back at the least dirty table thinking they must have been extremely busy although there was only one other table being occupied. A young man (who is the owner's son) came out and took our order without even bothering to clear the table at all and as I pushed one of the dirty plates over he snapped at me and said he would clean it and left us with a dirty table as he went to get our drinks. He brought our drinks and took the dirty dishes, but didn't even wipe the table that was full of crumbs and was wet from the drinks before. So we decided to move to the front of the restaurant because there was a big fan blowing in the back of the restaurant and it was hard to have a conversation. He came out and sarcastically asked us if we were going to stay put or if we were going to move again. Since we had already ordered and didn't want him spitting in our food, we told him were staying put and again he said something like "well if you decide to move again, let me know." We should have left right then. Then the phone rang and someone called to complain who had been there earlier and the young man argued with him telling him "No, I did not spit in your food or put pubic hairs in your food!" As he brought out our food he apologized about the conversation that we overheard and continued to tell us about the conversation in detail which we didn't care to hear. He kept arguing with his father saying he didn't do or say any of the things we heard as another call came in complaining about the service again. Then another call came in and was accusing him of unprofessional behavior. Needless to say we won't ever be going back there again because the owner's son sucks at customer service and is doing his father a disservice by...

I witnessed how on some occasions customers can be quite rude. An older lady provoked the waitress a lot last Saturday. The lady ordered a garnish order and got upset because she was charged. The lady began to verbally attack the girl, who was taking care of her, i think the waitress name is lorena, The lady alleged that they had waited a long time, the girl informed her that when they arrived there were already orders in front of her order, that she would not be served before the first people who arrived, which after so many curses that the lady told the girl, the girl defended herself and put her in her place! Ruben the girl defended your job! The lady began to verbally assault your employee. I Hope my review Help so that ruben does not allow his problematic customers to assault his workers, the lady created a fairly large conflict and then pretends to be a victim, threatening the girl that she would receive a very bad review. The girl received a call which i belive it was a take out order and the lady didn't stop screaming, the girl told her to stop screaming because she couldn't hear what people was saying on the phone, the girl told the lady to leave the restaurant and the haughty lady yelled at the girl "you don't tell me what I have to do" "btch" the girl demanded her to leave and the lady from the door continued to curse the girl. The girl ended the argument saying "bye, have a good day", the woman flipped her off through the window. Again... the waitress defended rubens work and she defended...

I usually come here to get authentic Posolè and Meñudo. However this weekend I went in and ordered two Chicharrón Burritos and Green Chile Stew. I was so disappointed to bite into the burrito and rather than having a crispy bite it was mostly bean and undercooked Chicharrón. Like super fatty and chewy tiny bits of pork. Most of the burrito was bean which is such a scam when your paying 7+ for a crispy pork burritos. Both were like this. The stew was stew. But after biting that burrito I had completely lost my appetite. They offered to replace the burritos which we did but the chef and cashier laughed and mocked me when I asked if I can get a carne asada burrito instead.....? They said only carnitas or beef... I choose beef and to my disappointment I bit into a bean and rice burrito mixed with a little bit of beef...? Then the next day the restaurant charged my card a $5 tip. I had already wasted $30 for food I didn't want to eat anymore then they charged themselves more money from my card. I didn't tip because well they made me two raw pork bean burritos and became rude when I asked for a replacement or refund. They said they didn't know if it was the guy before me who wanted to tip? So they put it on my tab!?? And offered me $5 cash for the "mistake" So sketchy and scammy. I really liked this hole in the wall place until this gross experience I had with...

A very tasty and low key place to enjoy breakfast! Lured by the brightly painted windows, we went at 10 a.m. on a Sunday. The eat-in area was not crowded, though there was a steady stream of carry out customers. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. I ordered huevos rancheros; the tortillas came warmed, the green Chile had wonderful flavor and the eggs were cooked just right. My daughter had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast; the omelet was tasty and the hashbrowns were just right... crispy out and tender in. We shared a basket of sopapillas with honey... so yummy! We will definitely go back... the staff was friendly and we liked that we didn't feel rushed... we read the paper, did the crossword, chatted and didn't feel pressured to leave quickly.

Me and my lady stopped by for late breakfast this heavy of a snow day. I absolutely love the old school settings they have! The half wooden walls with old pictures hanging on the walls is awesome! The old school tables and chairs is really cool and comfortable. The restaurant was super clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Food was fresh and super affordable! I ordered scrambled eggs with hash browns and toast with white milk. The food tasted as if it was home made. First time there but not our last! A very good local restaurant.

Well when I arrived it was empty just me. At 3:30. Im a breakfast all day kind of guy. But here it will cost $1.00 more per item on the breakfast menu. Just do it, it's worth it, this small family owned restaurant is just what your looking for. The food is hot and feels like grandma's kitchen. If I could I would have taken a nap after. Im also a coffee drinker and coffee well, it's restaurant quality. 5 star for different coffee. But we will be back. Bad coffee is just a drink every thing else makes up for it.
