New to Albuquerque moved from Michigan where I enjoyed great Starbucks weekly. On our way cross country to New Mexico enjoyed great coffee from all Starbucks in Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Went to store closest to my house, 1st couple times great coffee, Pumpkin Cold brew and Iced Honey Flat whites. š„³šThen 2 weeks ago dropped in and ordered 2 iced honey flat whites, got home sour, no honey flavor tasted like spoiled almond milk or at best regular flat white with bitter after taste. Gave them a pass, couple days later returned and ordered 2 more Iced Honey almond flat whites same result, bitter and no honey flavor. Called store to complain, Jasmine manager apologized and reported supply chain struggles with changes to honey syrup pumps, 1/2 what they should be. Jasmine offered to replace them with 2 free ones on next visit. I returned 2 days later, ordered 2 more iced Honey flat whites, this time pulled over in parking lot and same awful result last 2 times, bitter and no honey flavor. Calmly went inside, Jasmine was on duty, explained my complaint, she got defensive, sharp tone, didnāt apologize or listen, ran over grabbed honey syrup bottle attempted justify her sub standard product, she kept repeating it like it wasnāt her fault! I felt ignored and minimized, repeated if I wanted a Flat white I wouldāve ordered one, not up to Starbucks standards Iāve come to expect all over country. She had no response, stalked off in huff, made me wait 10 minutes for proper honey iced flat whites. Barista apologized and asked me taste to them, reported thatās what I expected. Thanked her. No further comment or experience with manager Jasmine. Staff were nice, professional and responsive but Jasmine wasnāt. Decided after that experience to seek out new Starbucks refuse to support a store run by unprofessional and rude manager. She needs some customer service retraining or day off or was having bad day? Not my problem I pay good money expect basic service at minimum....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this Starbucks since it has opened. Itās right next to my house, and I have had many friends work at this particular location. I love this Starbucks, drinks are always made perfectly and I love to get a pumpkin loaf with it as well. With all that being said, I looked yesterday morning to see if it was open and was so grateful it was. I saw on Christmas it was open till 4, so at 3:40 I got in my car and got there around 3:45 and cannot wait to get a coffee, granted I was cutting it close but I thought Starbucks would be able to take my order. As iām waiting in line itās getting close to 4pm but figured no issue because there is a car in front of me that is at the box and got there order taken. At 4pm a guy came out and informed me that I was cut off, me confused asked shouldnāt the people in line before 4 have there order taken? Which there is only 2 cars after me, then stated to me that āthey canāt be here all day and that I can try a different location.ā Trust me I get it, I work in customer service too at Bahama Bucks, but maybe my job is just different in the sense when we are getting close to closing the store. At my job whoever is in line before our closing we are required to take and fulfill their order. I also understand that it is Christmas as well. But instead of being understanding of the customers needs it was discouraging of how the worker spoke to me, making me not so fond of returning. Maybe they were just having a busy or stressful day, but after waiting in a line for 15 minutes about to get my order taken and getting cut off was disappointing. I hope whoever was working today a Merry Christmas because it seemed like a bother to try to give this...

There is no reason not to believe that this location is supplied by the same sources as the other Albuquerque Starbucks, and, so, I have withheld one star because Starbucks, in general, has a long way to go with regard to food offerings. The coffee is great! What they have done for themselves and what they've done to legitimize premium coffee shops all over the country is commendable, but only when they install actual kitchens in their stores will I consider Starbucks a viable option for breakfast or lunch.
Until then, the most notable drawback in Albuquerque is the absence of Starbucks Bistro Boxes. While the Bistro Boxes are not 5-star cuisine either, they are an improvement over what The Land of Enchantment is currently provided by The Starbucks Corporation. (Google "Starbucks...
