02 MAR 2024 First time customer today. I ordered Shrimp Tempura, chicken wings, crab rangoon, garlic beef lunch entree & shrimp fried rice. The vegetables were fresh & crisp and I liked they had chunks of minced garlic in the sauce, not just garlic powder. Everything was tasty and portion sizes were very large. The Garlic Beef entree came with fried rice & soup, but I told them I didn't want the soup. It would be a very filling lunch entree for just $8.30 + tax. Dinner time portion is larger and costs more. I was the only one in line and it took 6 minutes for everything to be brought to me which I thought was reasonable and it smelled GREAT driving home. Highly recommend at least one visit. I'll be a returning customer.

I ordered sushi, dumplings, soup, and an egg role. The sushi, the sushi chef wasn’t in, so I waited 30 minutes for the sushi. The sushi roll was the smallest sushi roll I had ever received, it was awful on top of that…I didn’t even eat it…and I paid $11 for it! The egg role was so small for $2, only two bites. I could go on, but disappointed to say the least.

The drunken noodle was decent. I got crab rangoons and there was hardly anything inside. It was just a wonton with a tiny bit of cream cheese. Pretty bummed about that. The mushroom soup was very good. Hibachi was so-so.

We live in Alcoa and were excited about having an Asian Cafe close by. When they first opened up, their food was good and portions were enough to share. I got our usual tonight & was VERY disappointed!! The portion of Hibachi chicken could fit in the palm of my hand. The vegetables were the same. When we called back to make them aware that our 2 orders of Hibachi chicken hardly had any chicken in them, they apologized and said the owners had recently changed their portion sizes. Well, don’t charge $32 for $5 worth of food!! The manager ended up calling us back and said she was sorry we were disappointed with our order and that our next order would be free. She also confirmed that the owners had recently made a change in portion sizes. So to the owners… you might want to re-evaluate that change if you want to stay...

It was the first time we went there. I had sweet and sour chicken, and my wife had sweet and sour shrimp. Up front, we are used to full service Chinese Restaurants, and there are not many of those around here. Those that we've found have not had good sweet and sour offerings. Asian Cafe Express is designed as a drive-through express, and the amount of food is small when compared to a full sized restaurant. The food was not bad but not a lot of it. Our order was $26 plus without tip. And here I am frustrated with them even asking for a tip. They are paid full wages. Normal Restaurants wait staff are not paid full wages and need tips to survive. Tipping is...
