We’ve been regular customers for weeks now. The food has always been great and service has been phenomenal. Tonight, we recommend our friends to meet here for a birthday dinner. They had never been and I essentially talked them into this spot since I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’m not sure what was different tonight but our server wasn’t really up on things. Our food took 40 minutes, our appetizers came 20 minutes after our food. We were there forever just waiting. A worker was told to stand next to our table with a tray of glasses of waters for the next party to sit at our booth to force us to get up and leave but we weren’t done yet. I asked her if she was was waiting on our table as she was essentially just standing over us. She answered yes. I was completely appalled. My family and our friends were forced to get up and out. They discounted our check but I wanted the special time eating with our friends we never see. My husband never received his food even though they said they would bring it to go. I tried talking to Robbie the manager but he seemed really angry with me and was unsympathetic towards our experience. I was pretty upset so I tried to grab up my to go drinks and was still working on my current drink. I accidentally grabbed up one of the waters for the next party. I sat it down when I realized what I had done and Robbie said I assaulted another customer with water when I sat it down. He agreed that it was accidental but that I was no longer welcome in the building and threatened that I would be charged with assault. He also said I was stealing their cup. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant in all of my life. The man I allegedly spilled water on never even looked my way. Now I’m certain I was probably just being gaslighted. I had previously recommended this restaurant to everyone and how well it was ran. We would have gladly been out of there in a timely manner if our food had come out as it normally would have. If you eat here, I pray you don’t have the...
Read moreI took my boyfriend here for his birthday as a friend had recommended the new business. We expected to wait awhile since the place was brand new, so we waited for about 45 minutes for our bar table to open up. Our waitress took a very long time grabbing stuff. She didnt write any of the things we were saying down and got my boyfriends meal wrong.
It took her 10 minutes to greet us, 10 minutes for her to grab our drinks, and our appetizers came 2 minutes before our main dishes and another 5 minutes to flag her down to let her know the meal came out wrong. By the time they got his stuff for his burger correct his meal was cold. It took about 15 minutes to flag her down to grab our bill, then another 10 minutes for her to give it to us, then another 10 minutes until we got our bill back. We saw she was extremely busy but maybe management shouldn’t have given her the whole bar section to deal with.
My bf and I are both waiters so our patience was very high so maybe we have too high expectations LOL but we’d expect the average non-food service workers to probably complain and lose patience more than us. The wings were nothing special, I ended up taking them home because the appetizer was more like our meal because it was late (potatoe skins with pork were AMAZING) but my bf only ate half of his burger and I touched maybe 2 of my wings and maybe 3 of my sweet potatoe fries (which were very skinny and burnt)
I am a huge wing fan, and he’s a huge burger fan so idk what went wrong but we didn’t seem to enjoy the majority of our time here although we wish we could have especially for his birthday. Maybe it was the rush of a Friday night and our waitress not knowing what she was doing but hopefully we will have a different experience at a...
Read moreAs a long standing fan of the Blue Moose Burgers & Wings in Pigeon Forge, I was excited for this location to open up. I was pleasantly surprised that our party of 4 had no wait time on opening day at dinner time. I believe that our waitress's name was Genesis. She was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We ordered the Buc's Poker Chips and the Gringo's Nachos. We had no complaint with either of these, except for the taco meat in the nachos, as it seemed to not be as flavorful as we would have hoped. Then we ordered 50 traditional wings, with the following flavors: Signature Hot; Mild Buffalo; Sweet Thai Garlic; Chipotle BBQ; and Gold Fever. Those are what we always generally get, unless we come with a much larger group. We noticed, on this visit, that the Signature Hot and the Mild Buffalo wings seemed very dry and devoid of sauce, which was disappointing. However...the flavor was good and the Sweet Thai Garlic helped to compensate for that. We enjoyed several soft drinks during our meal and one 32 ounce beer, which was great. We ended up ordering desert to go...a Blue Velvet cake and Peanut butter pie. However, the waitress advised that the to-go items were not ready to process, so we ordered them to stay, and had to package them ourselves for take home.
All in all...it was a good experience. I hope the staff takes whatever steps are necessary to rectify the discrepancies mentioned for our next visit...which I hope...
