Clark Cafe — Restaurant in Alexandria

I was really disappointed because it has such high reviews and I love finding local coffee shops. Especially since my job requires me to travel everywhere. When I got there I don't know if I rubbed her the wrong way but she was extremely rude. I asked how many shots are in the small versus the large she pointed and said three two. I don't mind the answer. It was the tone of voice that was extremely rude as if I bothered her. I ordered my coffee, and unfortunately it was not really that good. It was just liquid syrup. Too sweet for me to drink. But because she went back to her conversation on the phone, she had a Bluetooth in her ear and just turned away. I didn't even bother. What a waste. On to the good stuff, it was a nice little Cafe tucked in a building. I did like the pastries... I would have ordered the apple pie one but once I ordered the coffee she just told me the total before I could even speak. I literally couldn't even say I wanted a pastry. It's a shame because the apple pie crissonant...

I walked from my hotel to grab a matcha latte since I don’t drink coffee. The women taking my order had the IQ of a door knob. She asked for my order twice (small matcha latte hot with oat milk).

Luckily I was the only person there. She provided me a regular latte. Good thing I opened the lid and looked at it. The other women working said she would get me what I ordered and she upgraded it to a large. It was nice of her. She clearly was frustrated with the inept lady. However, the large had way too much milk and not enough matcha.
