Fresh Kitchen — Restaurant in Virginia

This review is about the customer service, not the food. We went to get breakfast here after leaving out hotel, not knowing what time they closed. We came at 11:00am and, although it was our fault for not knowing open/close hours, when we showed up to the door, whoever was cleaning the table stared angrily at us. We stood there for a second and then tried to open the door, and he sharply turned to face us, dropped his rag, and angrily waved us away. Confused (because there were still a good amount of other customers in there eating), we tried to open the other door. Again, the man cleaningthe table angrily waved us away and mouthed “NO!”. We looked over at one of the customers eating, who was watching the encounter (he seemed confused too), and he looked back at us, and mouthed “guess they’re closed?” and shrugged.

Again, we should have looked up store hours, but a simple “sorry we’re closed” would have...

I had the hash with over easy eggs. My daughter had pancakes with bacon. My food was pretty good, eggs were cooked well. The corned beef was sliced like from a slicer then cut into little squares. So it's not the freshest. My daughter's food was disappointing. Her pancakes were tough, bacon was lightly burned but for the most part edible. Another put off for me was the syrup in one of those disposable packets. Coffee was coffee, nothing special. Altogether not really fresh, but I suppose it was made in a kitchen. Most likely...

I have no idea why this restaurant has so low of a rating. This place has an amazing selection for breakfast. Screw the buffet. Ultimate breakfast sandwich, breakfast potatoes, and a $4 avocado toast that is worth somewhere closer to $15. The staff is friendly. Bulbul was our waiter and he made our visit amazing. Coffee is alright but this establishment grows ingredients fresh for you. Burgers are on point. I went here twice and it was definitely a great experience....
