Market 2 Market is a gem in Del Ray! They are primarily a deli that specializes in Italian-style subs, but they also have an eclectic and expansive craft beer (over 200) selection.
I've tried a handful of their subs, but my favorite is the Mt. Ida. Made with their homemade meatballs and sauce and provolone cheese, this hot sandwich hits the spot. They've got a range of other great sandwiches. Whether you want an Italian sub or something else like oven-roasted turkey breast, tuna salad, pastrami, corned beef, chicken salad, eggplant parmesan, they have it on the menu. You can even build your own sub the way you like.

Read moreWent to this establishment excited about getting a Funky cuban, several guests had already ordered and a customer let the woman in the purple shirt known I was next, she shrugged her shoulders and took the other womans order, after that she took a gentleman that was there...not one time did she ask who is next or if I had been helped. The customer told the man at the register that I was next and not one did he aknowledge me or even say he would be with me momentarily. I work in the hospitality industry and never would I treat a guest in such a fashion and I am taken aback with the service there....the excuse that I was given bout her just coming on her shift was unacceptable....i was the only African American woman in there so I don't understand how I wasn't seen....Very Bad Service....Never...

The lady asked me what veggies I wanted and started to rattle them off...I said yes! Then the price shows up and I'm charged the veggie price on every option. This doesn't make sense to me as I don't want a 13+ $ veggie sandwich. And I say this. I then say well what about something like the Commonwealth...no hummus bit veggies and for the same price. The confusion on this topic was unreal...anyway, what I got was a sandwich w some veggies a(about afour from what I count) and a mountain of mayo...awful! I mean it's 25 dollars for two combos which is pricey enough.. but how do you mess up a veggie...
