Pak Soii Izakaya & Bar — Restaurant in Alexandria

I feel bad having to write this review for a new restaurant that we were excited about, but we were very disappointed with our take-out order. We spent $88 on 7 different items thinking we’d get try everything and the total amount (pictured) was no more than a few bites. The meat sticks were bite sized, the sushi rolls were like sample sizes, and the salad was served in a paper ice cream cup. Honestly this was the worst meal we’ve had in this neighborhood in our 3 years here but I hope they get things figured out. Again, I hate to leave this review but the photos speak...

This new little gem is in my neighborhood we've been waiting for it to open for a long time. Del Ray Alexandria was in dire need of sushi for the past year or so. We went to the soft opening and you would never have known it was there first night. The bartender, the owner and all the other staff were attentive, helpful, and we enjoyed our drinks, food, and the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back until others about it.
