Whataburger — Restaurant in Alexandria

Probably one of the worst drive-through experiences I’ve had, and I’ve been multiple times to this location and it’s always the same, “pull up and wait.” I ordered 5 honey butter chicken biscuits 5 hashbrowns, and 2 bacon egg and cheese wraps (that cost me 54.00) at 9 in the morning. It took almost 40 minutes for me to get my food and I was the only person in line. While I was there that had 4 OTHER CARS pull around me and park in the waiting area for their food. While I waited two of them got their orders ahead of me. It wasn’t a complex order. It was chicken biscuits at 9am. When I asked what was the hold up I was told they were “waiting on biscuits” but this is what I’m told everytime I go there. I know this probably won’t get read or matter, but the worst part of the whole thing was when I FINALLY got my food, (and I was holding my tongue due to having my child with me) I got my food and said thank you and all I got back was an “aight”. Not a “sorry for your wait” or “thank you, have a nice day” or nothing. I’m in sales. I know it sucks some days, but the least you can do is smile and act like you give a crap. Even if it’s for the 1.3 seconds it took you to hand me the food. If I’m spending 54 dollars on freakin biscuits and fried potatoes, I would at least expect a “thank you” or something. Absolutely WILL NOT be giving them another chance. My philosophy is, if you do a job, no matter what it is, do it to the best of your ability and be the best version of yourself you can be. Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all you do. No one at this establishment cares to do any of that. If you don’t like what you do, find...

Definatly a diamond in the gem crown of Alexandria fast food choices. Two of my favs about side by side Whataburger and Wendys! The new Hatch chilli burger is awesome,a bit pricey at 9 bucks for burger alone,but it is a MUST TRY at least once burger. Only a little bit of spice,all kinds of moist and great flavor with the bacon cheese,and softened chillies. It's big enough 4 two ppl seriously. My other fav is the chicken strip basket. Get GRAVY instead of and dipping sauce,dip your fries,toast AND chicken in it.Sub a choc mint shake instead of drink. Your full for two meals worth I'm telling you! My hubbs go to is the Whataburger Grilled chicken, moist never ever dry, with the mustard, nice big slice tomatoe,lettuce...another exceptional chicken choice here. Again about their AMERICAN BEEF burgers...juicey,flavorful,Da bomb in burger town! Oh OH Back to the shakes,creamy goodness, rich high end ice cream and not a lot if air but pure creamY, lip licking delight, with just the right amount of flavor y'all. The staff here do stuff RIGHT, POLITE,QUICK and get your order Right! That's what fast food or any restaurant should be,you don't get any rude treatment here,no Sir ,ALWAYS Thank you and Your Welcome. Thank you Whataburger for coming to Alexandria AND Pineville, we are glad your here....now we need Waffle house,y'all Corp got any pull with getting them here????...

I sat in the drive thru for almost an hour. People in the other lane who had ordered after me were getting their food. They took my payment at the window at 11:11 PM. I left the window at 11:36 PM with no food because they had given my order to someone else and they were going to have to remake it.

The manager refunded my money but said it'll take 3 or more days for it to go back into my account. When the girl who had taken my payment went to give me a copy of the receipt, the manager got frustrated and said she has to keep both receipts. Then she thrust the receipt back at me and said "Just take that one".

So, I'm sitting there about to ask if she needs to keep the receipt when one of the other workers asks "Why is she still sitting there? Did she get a refund? If she got a refund, why is she still there?". So, I said "I'm leaving now!", and when I said that, the manager slammed the window shut in my face.

I have never had such a bad experience at any restaurant of any kind as the one I just had...
