i’m not one to leave google reviews but i could not get over the attitude from the ladies behind the counter. i used to work for mcdonald’s and this is completely unacceptable. the customer before us ordered a mcgriddle sandwich at 10:31 and the blonde boy told them they had to order something else. when it was my turn i ordered a cheeseburger and a medium fry and asked if i could buy 3 happy meal toys. the blonde girl with a long pony tail told me no and i asked again to clarify “i can’t just buy an ala cart toy?” she was either new or wasn’t taught. she went to the manager rolling her eyes and flipping her hands and a younger dirty blonde girl who was not the manager came and showed her how to do it. we got 3 of the same toys in which we already had(i should have asked first that was my mistake) so i asked if i could return the toys. the same blonde girlwho took the order went to the manager and the manager then rolled her eyes and went to the back. that’s when i decided to “im just asking a question i don’t know why you’re rolling your eyes at me” the manager came back from the back and asked the girls if i bought them by themselves, in which i did.. and she returned the toys for me. my family and i always stop at this mcdonald’s a handful of times every year for our 5 hour drive to hazelhurst. so this is a frequent visit. we stop here on the way there and the way back. . i just hope the attitude improves. or the staff. last time we came we ordered lunch and it took 30 minutes just to get the food. it may just be time to find another place to go to. i feel bad for leaving this survey but i couldn’t get over the customer service from this...
Read moreNow, I've been keeping this story to myself for some time, as to protect my identity. Yet I can no longer hold this in. It eats at my soul every day. So... here goes. I came here in 2020 with my best friend Todd Mitchell. He was one of those guys who always wore a baseball cap and an oversized hoodie. We came for a late night Frappe, but didn't know just what we were going to get. (sorry if my writing gets a little shaky, I haven't talked about Todd in a few years). So anyways... We go in and ask the vaguely European employee for two caramel frappes. He takes a step back like we said something offensive and reaches his arm down by his leg. At this point we knew what he was doing. Todd copied the workers movements with haste. It was a duel. I looked at the worker and then at Todd. Both had sweat dripping down their foreheads like a freshly groomed race horse. I saw Todd's fingers twitch, which seemed to spur a reaction in the European. He swiftly grabbed his side-arm and put 3 holes in places that they shouldn't be. Todd cried out in pain one last time, before disappearing into the ether. The European clicked open his holster and slid the weapon in. He then proceeded to make both Frappes with haste. I drank both. One for me. One for Todd.
Please like this review and share Todd's story with your friends and family. We will not let his memory die with his pride.
R.I.P Todd (2002-2020)
Sincerely...
Read moreThe drive-thru was absolutely packed so I decided to go inside to order my food. Huge mistake. I was ignored for several minutes until a manager told somebody to go to the counter to take order. Once my order was taken, everyone resumed handling the busy drive-thru. I watched my food get made, sent up to get bagged, and then sit there for 5-10 minutes. During this time, a group of 3 associates had a discussion about how a customer ordered a root beer float and how they were blown away that someone would try and order something not on their menu. Also during this time, I watched countless drive-thru orders get made and served while my food sat there. Once someone finally realized that their ONLY CUSTOMER INSIDE THE RESTAURANT was still waiting for their food, they scrambled, bagged it, and handed it over. My food was cold before it even made it into the bag. This is my 2nd time visiting this McDonald's, and this same exact thing happened the first time. Walk-ins get ignored. The drive-thru is clearly this restaurant's only priority.
Don't go here if you plan on heading inside for your order unless you enjoy being ignored or forgotten. If you plan on going through the drive-thru, be prepared for extremely long lines. People must be doing that because they know not to waste their time going inside.
Needless to say, I won't be...
