We're local patrons of this place - we've never really had any issues before in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed our times here. The staff are normally very courteous and friendly.
However last night, we inquired about the $10 Burger and Beer deal and asked our server which beers and burgers the deal is applicable to and the server said "basically all the beers on draft and bottle and ALL 3 burgers on the right side" of the burger menu. That includes the Wagyu burger which my partner and I ordered b/c who wouldn't - that is a great deal. We got the bill after and the beer costs were taken out but full price for the burgers.
I asked another server about the bill and he said that the Wagyu burger isn't part of the deal because it's too expensive of a burger. From a business standpoint, that is completely understandable and there is nothing wrong with excluding that from your Monday deals - but please train your servers to communicate this appropriately to your consumers, especially since we did ask the server for confirmation on which burgers would the deal (and the deal being $10 for a burger and beer combo - not a deduction of the beer cost) apply to before ordering. It would be far more appreciated if the server retracted on his initial words (if realized) and verbally communicating that, instead of your consumers having to pay full price at the end of their meal for something they wouldn't have ordered in the beginning, had the right information been relayed.
The food tasted great by the way (and we'll still come back time and time again b/c we truly enjoy the food and libations here) - it was Memorial Day weekend and it was relatively busy so we decided to just pay the bill instead of...
Read moreFound this little bar/restaurant because I live in the area. Went there 2 times and absolutely loved it! I was addicted to their burgers so fresh and delicious.. however, went back the third time only to realize I was never going back again.
I came in starving, but was willing to wait for the food.. there was a massive work party there, I didn’t think anything of it.
The waitress sat us down and said it would just be a minute, comes back says “thank you for your patience” takes our order and every time she’d come around she said the same thing.
We sat there for about 30 min watching as they served this big old work party, vip status and we didn’t even get our freaking drink. Nope, no water offered to us nothing.
Finally I said let’s go. I told the waitress to cancel our order because we were leaving and that we had been waiting for so long and they didn’t even bring us a water or our drinks she just said “ok”. The audacity, no accommodation whatsoever.
Really sad too, I was really enjoying their food! A bit pricey but I was willing to pay when it came to good service and good food but when that goes out the window so does my desire to...
Read moreI'm brand new to the area, but learned quickly that you need to know parking around Main St. to get anywhere, or you can walk. Not that it's very far for anything.
Limerick's on TNF was actually pretty cool. Great car bomb, really good ambiance, food was nice. I wish I knew the Shepard's Pie was made with lamb, as it rightfully should be, but I prefer beef.
Instead the sliders were great and beautiful presentation! Garlic fries were average.
Although not too busy, service lacked. 15 mins for a second round. Of course, we were slow going so we could watch the game, but a bit more efficiency would be great.
Lots of loud hand slapping, which I didn't understand, but may be a local thing; again I'm new.
I'll be going back again to enjoy the menu and definitely another car bomb!
Beers were perfectly chilled and very good!
Nice it an overall 4.5 outta...
