First Baptist Church Alhambra — Attraction in Alhambra

I put my kid at this daycare because they were the only one available at the time. I got some referrals too from my friends. Place was ok, nothing fancy. Teachers were nice. Toys and books appeared old and uncared for. The playground was very basic, no sand box for toddlers like in any other daycare. So very very basic. That explains why this place is so cheap. However, this place seems to not care about children's development. Every kid MUST be potty trained by the time they turn 2. No exception or your kid will be kicked out. Even my kid's pediatrician was surprised. The way they potty trained was weird. Toddlers starting at 18mo must be in pull ups and they are only taken to potty every 2 hours. No exception. 18-24mo kids CAN'T hold for 2 hours!!! They are not robots. Some maybe successful but not ALL. They kick your kids out if not 100% potty trained by 2. So beware of this place. The place is definitely spirit filled! The moment we stepped in as a first timer, we greeted with smiles and a warm welcoming atmosphere. It felt good. We even some how ended in the walk in with the singing and all. I was a bit nervous singing in front of a congregation I didn't know but I enjoyed ever bit of it.

In was informed that because of covid, there wasn't children's church but made sure to get an activity box that held small activities and snacks to hold my baby through the duration of the sermon. She still talks about it lol

I do not attend church here, I do not attend churches anywhere; I'm not catholic, but I park my car in their parking lot and it has always been a great help and a blessing because otherwise I'd have to worry like crazy trying to park on the street and move my car constantly and maybe get ticketed. The main church, as I understand, has Sunday services, but they also have other rooms they provide for diverse worshipping groups throughout the week.
