Had a great time at the BTS Cupsleeve Event at Pho Ever in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The special day had several vendors selling all your favorite BTS swag and services, like the air freshener and tarot card reading I purchased! The family-owned restaurant also featured a special menu for the day with BTS inspired treats. I ordered the Butterfly Pea Tea with Passionfruit, and it of course came with an iconic BTS Cupsleeve that I will forever treasure 😂 I also ordered the purple-toned Borahae spring rolls with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. Check out this tasty spot next time you’re in Little Tokyo, and I guarantee you’ll “purple” it 💜💜 . . . . . @phoever @bt.scents @btstarotproject #phoever #littletokyo #losangeles #laevents #thingstodoinla #bts #btsevent #ipurpleyou #btsarmy #losangelesblogger #lainfluencer #losangelesinfluencer #lavlogger

What happened to this place?! Came back for the good pho since I was feeling under the weather, left disappointed. You can tell something has changed here because there was no patrons at all and it was 11am on a weekend. Last time coming at 11, the place was already packed. To start, they got rid of one of the things that made them stand out the most which was the all day everyday lunch special. Now only available Monday - Friday, for those of us that work we don't get this. It was great for those of us that had weekends off. The food also went down in quality. The pho broth is still decent, but it seems that they skimped on what they give you. They give you a lot of noodles, but I only got like 2 tendons and half a meatball with a stack of overcooked dry beef. The rare beef wasn't even present. The mom and dad plate was overly sweet. Tasted like your typical teriyaki chicken and pork plate, better elsewhere. The only thing that was good at this place anymore was the coffee flight. Even the green Thai tea that I loved from here disappointed. It was overly bitter, and lacked the balance it originally had. The service itself was non existent almost. I gave them a 15% tip which looking back was way too generous. The server we had didn't seem that friendly at all, never checked on us, and seemed like he didn't like his job at all. Sadly this is going to be the last time we're coming back.

Best pho I have had to date. Large portions as well. The oyster mushroom tempura appetizer is also quite scrumptious. For about $14 for the appetizer, I felt I got my moneys worth. The combo Pho is also delectable at around the same price. The quantity and quality of meat in the combo Pho is nothing to scoff at either though I will admit I got the $2 extra charge to make it large.

Parking lot isn't large but it's free.

July 13th, 2025 Update: tried it again with different items.namely the shrimp spring rolls (approx $8 for 2, $14 for 4) and the mom and dad rice dish ($20) also a friend got bahn mi (beef brisket) Shrimp spring rolls are not worth the price, they replaced the rice noodles that are typically found with lettuce/cabbage from what I could tell. All to the detriment of the dish, the peanut sauce/ Goma sauce is your average sauce. The mom and dad rice dish was overpriced and underwhelming, the only thing going for it is the amount of meat and the marinade. The rice and salad that is included are your typical Vietnamese restaurant rice dish fare. The lemongrass pork and chicken were nicely charred but with the glaze being as sweet and potent as it was the char just scratches your mouth without much flavor. Friend's account: Bahn mi has flavor but doesnt justify the price. Specifically, it does nothing to justify the price and lacks pickled veggies that are usually found in other bahn mi places. The Bahn mi itself isn't large and comes with what he described as pho stock. Upon inquiry with a member of staff we were informed that it can be consumed as a pho dip or as a soup afterwards. From his account it didn't justify the price.

Conclusion, this is a Pho place and only a Pho place. The alternative items like rice dishes, spring rolls, and Bahn mi are overpriced and not worth getting...

We had high hopes for this place to start the new year right. We were seated quickly. A few minutes later a couple was seated next to us. We were ready to order, however, the lady who seated us went ahead and took the couple’s order first. No one came to take our order so we had to flag someone down to help us. We ordered and our food came out one dish at a time. Our last dish never showed up. After several minutes we asked about our last dish, a brisket Banh Mi sandwich. My wife could see the guy telling someone else that he forgot to input that specific order. However, when he came by to let us know what was going on with our last dish he just said they’ve been busy and it would be another 5 minutes. He seriously should have just owned up to the mistake. After 5 minutes I asked someone else what was going on. Then the sandwich finally showed up after a few more minutes. They never offered to make things right. They easily could have just offered to give us some free drinks or given us the late dish for free. Nothing. Terrible customer service. Aside from the pho, the food was pretty good — the Pho was just ok. Nothing special. Due to the bad customer service we won’t be back and cannot...
