United Premier Physicians Imaging Centers (Calvin Yang, M.D.) — Local services in Monterey Park

I was told over the phone I could do a walk in, my referral said I could do a walk in, and when I walked in I was told appointments were mandatory. I asked if I needed to do any preparation and was told no. When I arrived to my appointment, I waited for over an hour, received 1/2 x-rays, waited further, and then was told I would be unable to do the second x-ray due to my piercings. They took no accountability for denying there was any preparation I needed to do and told me to come back the next day as they managed to squeeze me in. When I came back the next day I was told that due to the error, I would not be charged my co-pay again. I was willing to let go of the experience as they did offer that turn around and lack of second charge, however I have now received a bill for the second co-pay and when I called they directed me to my insurance, even when I shared what they said on the second day about them not charging me. If you have the option to choose, choose any other...

My personal expérience is, they could not understand me ask for an Ultrasound of my Thumb so I got passed 3 three Times, waited and waited so at the end they told me "WE CAN'T DO AN ULTRASOUND OF YOUR THUMB".... It took 11 minutes exactly... I mean its a thumb I dont see thy it's a problem, lucky I dont have an ulcère. Also I was refered by Garfield...

Insurance ended up covering most of the procedure but this office never paid me back. They kept saying “we sent the check” but its been two years now and I never got anything. Extremely rude when I call to ask about it so I gave up. They kept just yelling “we sent it”. The right thing to do is just have me pick it up...
