Famous Ray's LLC — Restaurant in Aliquippa

This is a quaint appearing deli nestled in the only surviving part of Aliquippa. Most of the business there is based on foot traffic and the people that run the store are as ignorant and rude as can get. Their customer service skills are as vacant as their sanitary/housekeeping abilities. The several times I’ve given this place a shot the staff has been rude/sloppy to other customers or myself. I’ve bought deli meat that spoiled within days and have purchased moldy cheeses as well. Upon looking at their products the meats are noticeably sweaty, so I fear they either sit too long or their refrigerators are faulty. Most of their other products are overpriced and can be found at the dollar general for better prices or giant eagle with better customer service and guaranteed...

First and second time this week. Bought a lottery ticket and decided to pickup lunch and dinner. I ordered the IL Famoso Raimondo 12 inch - cold. Then I was told about the special of the day - hot Italian sausage. So I ordered that also. Figured I'd have the hot sandwich for lunch and save the cold one for dinner. The hot Italian sausage was excellent. The cold sub was a bit too salty for either of us. A few days later we stopped in for lunch. We ordered the Italian 6 inch and the Ruben. Both served "hot" actually just warm. Italian was good. The Ruben was massive, warm not grilled. Next time I would get both cold and heat them correctly when I got home. Just left here not more than 15 minutes ago. I can't believe they guys are legally selling sandwiches. I have NEVER had such a life changing experience from a sub before, it's criminally delicious. My buddy and I stopped through town and a local recommended Ray's Deli to us. We both got an Il Famoso Raimondo and we both agree, it was one of the best sandwiches we've ever had.

I'm not kidding. Sandwiches and burgers are my thing. This was genuinely life changing in how good a sandwich can possibly be. And the dude who made it didn't even charge me for the love he put into making it.
