Kendrew's Lounge — Restaurant in Aliquippa

This place has been a staple in the community pretty much as long as I've been alive. If you're from the Hopewell/Quip area you can go on any given night and there's a good chance you'll see someone you know there. If you're reading this review and you're from out of town looking for somewhere to go I'd highly recommend Kendrews. My family and I have been going to Kendrews for over 2 decades now. My parents used to bring me there on Thursdays for wings when I was a teenager. I'm in my 40's now taking my own kids there. The food is excellent and they're known locally for their wings. They have several different wing flavors, and you can even mix flavors to make your own sauce. The servers are awesome as well. Over the years I've had very few bad experiences there. The bar area is huge with a bunch of pool tables and dart boards, and they have a Touch Tunes jukebox by the back door. There are TV's all over the place so its great place to watch a game. Smoking is permitted in the bar area but they also have a non smoking area for dining. On top of the great food and atmosphere they also have Karaoke on Wednesdays and live bands on the weekends. It's just a laid back bar with people from all walks of life getting along and hanging out. A great place to go for dinner or just to relax and have a few drinks after a long...

We had been there on a Saturday for lunch several months ago and the food was delicious! So we decided to take friends from out of town in there for dinner and was so disappointed! The waitresses were inattentive and when we were finally able to order food we had to wait for 45 minutes! Only to get a barely warm burger & fries! There were 4 of us and 1 did manage to get a good meal! The chicken wings were hot and fresh! We spent over $100 for cold food and poor service!! On top of that we had to ask twice for silverware! It would seem you can eat Mac and Cheese without silverware! The pool tables seem to be $4 per game! This could be inaccurate we barely saw the waitress to ask! They were a little busy but there was plenty of open tables and it seemed the people sitting at the bar got their food first! I doubt we will go back and we certainly won't take friends from out of town...

This bar is actually really dope. The bartender with the black hair and leg tattoo was the only thing that ruined the experience. She was very ignorant the whole time and I had bought a bottle of beer and opened it (assuming I'm allowed to drink in the bar) she proceeded to call me stupid for not knowing I can drink the bottle in the bar and made very ignorant remarks instead of teaching me whatever stupid law she was quoting. This was on 7/13/2025 around 11pm. She had absolutely no respect for why I was confused because where I'm from you're not allowed to leave a bar with alcohol so no I didn't know I wasn't allowed to drink the beer inside the bar. Hopefully they find someone to replace her and keep the atmosphere alive. I have a very large following and have already told people to avoid this location based on her actions.
