I went there on a Sunday afternoon with my brother. First thing he said was that it appeared very disorganized; and it was. They weren't even taking names of people coming in. It took a good while, but we were finally seated. When I had to get up to get more salsa (our waitress was nowhere to be found), I overheard a woman saying, "this isn't my bill." When the food finally arrived and it was hurriedly dropped off, the waitress scooted away again and I, too late, noticed that my steak burrito had been made with ground beef. So, I got up, found the waitress and called her over. Showing her the burrito, she politely apologized, took the entire meal, and promised to make it right. For the next 10-20 minutes I watched my brother eat, while I had to wait and think. Here were my thoughts: Why did she have to take the meal away, if all that was going to happen was that it was going to be tossed in a garbage can? Wouldn't it have been better to ask if I'd keep the mistake for a discounted price? Wouldn't it have been better to leave me with the wrong meal, make the steak burrito and ask if I'd like it to go? Why not do either of those things if you're just going to throw it away when it gets back to the kitchen? Unless that's NOT what is intended! What if it's just going to be served to the next unknowing customer who orders another ground beef burrito. I hardly ate any of it. All that the restaurant is out is the chewed on tortilla. Why else do they want it back when it was clearly a mistake made by either the waitress who didn't take the order correctly or the kitchen staff who didn't make the order right? Don't think that this doesn't happen elsewhere, because it has. Just ask anyone in the food service industry. Needless to say, I don't think that...
Read moreThis restaurant was always my favorite place to get takeout. I’ve been doing so for years since my boyfriend introduced me to it. I usually order the chimichangas because they are THE BEST compared to anywhere else in or around town.
But the last THREE times that I have ordered takeout chimichangas from here, I have found a wooden toothpick skewer INSIDE of my chimichangas. Not on top. Literally inside, blending in with the chicken. The first time, the pick was shredded and I had bit down hard on it. It was painful enough that I had to schedule a dentist appointment. I couldn’t tell you how many slivers of wood I may have eaten that day, but I’m sure it happened if they were small enough bits. I saw it as an oversight and didn’t care to call and complain.
The second time, it was the entire pick, luckily unbroken. I was a bit frustrated that this happened a second time, so I had my boyfriend take a picture and he said he would visit and notify them of this oversight. (See picture with hand holding pick)
Today was the final straw. I included the receipt, which specifically states to take the toothpick out because it has happened two times too many already. And I also included the photo of me literally finding it after cutting into a portion of my chimichanga (typically about halfway into the meal).
I will honestly miss getting the chimichangas here, because they really are the best chimichangas I have ever had, but I’ll never order food to-go from here again. I’m sure the dine-in experience might be different, but I wouldn’t know.
*Side note, they forgot the lettuce on it today and it...
Read moreI've been a faithful customer for 5 years plus I've always ordered the exact same thing the exact same way the large family meal. This time I go to order it always substitute something paying additional costs never have had an issue. She told me I could not do it I told her I've always done it that way for years she told me she was the manager that was the way it was ok fine..ordered no tomato on anything..it was going to be at least a 45min or over wait no problem...7:30 pm already open all the food everything is covered in tomato ( my husband can't have tomatoes) So I called asked to speak back to the manager because she took my order. She was already rude from the start told me they would remake it and deliver it to give the other food back to the driver. So you want me to wait another hour letting my kids sit here hungry to give you back the food for you to hopefully throw out waiting for the food my husband can eat..?..and you tell me rudely you was doing me a favor delivering it to me. No thanks I will bring it all back and take my business elsewhere. I ask for a number and a name to her boss and she told me good bye I never raised my voice never yelled angry hungry and frustrated yes!!! I told her I worked in a restaurant and I thought the way she handled the whole situation was very poorly as a manager her reply to me was good for you.... I will never step foot back in this establishment I know I'm only one person But the way this manager handle the situation I know I won't...
