Tried this place for the first time yesterday as it is right down the street from my house. The decor is nice, although no comfy chairs or couches like most other coffee places have. The barista was all but friendly, hardly saying a word to me. I ordered a flat white mocha with oat milk. The drink was bland, couldn’t taste the mocha or the Espresso at all. Basically tasted like a cup of steamed milk. Their large is a 16oz, which is normally a medium in most other places. The price was $6.75, which is higher then what most other coffee places in the area charge for a 20oz. Price for a 20oz mocha (2 Shots espresso) with Oat Milk is around $6 at most other competing coffee places (Fresh Bean, Common Grace,Tous Les Jour). Also beware if you use a credit card to pay, they actually charge a credit card fee! Unfortunately this place is overpriced for what you get. Read moreQamaria is just the right addition to Allen Park! They offer a mix of traditional Yemeni teas and coffee in addition to familiar- American known coffees, teas and refreshers!
If you’re looking for a not-so-basic spin on your typical coffee shop this is the place to be. As soon as you walk in the aroma of coffee and tea brewing and the decadent sweets engulf all your senses.
Then you’re welcomed by the friendly staff that make you feel comfortable, like family. They are so well versed with their entire menu and will walk you through anything unfamiliar.
Regardless of what you order, know this- you are not just getting a cup of Joe, you’re getting an experience. One that takes you out of your life element.
The atmosphere is welcoming, you’ll find people there to socialize and people there to study. Beautiful esthetic.
Qamaria is definitely going to...
Read moreBeen here multiple times now. First visit exceeded expectations, and each time I visited afterward they have remained consistent. Their service is some of the best I've experienced in downriver–always helpful, polite, and ready to serve you. Their product is great too. They offer milk substitutes for those who do not drink dairy. Would recommend the baked goods to compliment any coffee you order. Not sure about gluten free baked goods. Haven't asked. Even if you may not know exactly what to order they can give helpful suggestions to your taste. Wi-fi is available and good indoor seating and outside seating. Just ask for the Wi-fi password. Have brought some friends along with me and have recommended it to others and it would be safe to say they would say experiences very similar to what is said here. Would be a pleasure to come again,...
