I go to this location all the time. 90% of the time, the food is great. These last few times were a bit disappointing. I saw something happened in the store as well as received food that was less than satisfactory. I’ll start with what I witnessed in the store. There was a family, looks like mom, dad and kids, that were a there for ice cream. They ordered, and the cone the mom received had two scoops and apparently she only asked for one. She’s holding the ice cream, get the manager’s attention to tell her, manager looks extremely annoyed, takes the cone, knocks one scoop back in the freezer where it was scooped from and hands mom the cone with one scoop. Mom seemed a bit shocked and whispered something to dad, and I was like… did she really just put that ice cream back in there after the customer handled the cone? Not to mention her attitude. That was unnecessary, unacceptable and unsanitary. After the service I’d received on my last two visits, I wasn’t at all surprised. Now, my food. Please see Exhibit A, a photo of a dried out spicy crispy chicken breast that was on a sandwich I ordered. This was my first time ordering this. I wasn’t aware that the chicken breasts are precooked and sitting in a warmer. Silly me… what was I thinking… this is NOT Chick-Fil-A. Anywho, be that as it may, zoom in and see how dry that breast is. Not to mention the edges were hard af and where hard to chew. The actual flavor of the sandwich was bomb but the quality and texture were absolute garbage. I couldn’t eat it but I wasn’t going back up there for round two… I’d just gotten off of work and I wasn’t up for it. Now the fries were hot. They generally are. But lately the burgers have been cold, the buns aren’t fresh and just look at my chicken sandwich. Come on Braums… you are literally the last fast food restaurant I eat at because your food WAS always good, hot and fresh. I think you may have just...

I wanted to update my review with some constructive criticism due to my recent experiences here. I don't live close by but I'm in the area every Friday night around 10pm.
I always skip dinner so I can grab a Braums cheeseburger at that time. Per the website and Google listing, they close at 10:45pm. So I should be good, right? No. There is always a huge line of at least 5-10 cars (I'm # 8 in it now at 10:13pm).
I've only waited in line a few times. Once I got to the speaker to order at 10:40 or so and they took my order, all good. The second time I got up to the speaker around 10:35-10:40 and was told to hold to order, waited a few minutes and then was told they were only serving ice cream.
The other time I gave up and drove away. This location doesn't have much competition nearby. I would consider staying open later as you are turning away a LOT of business.
My other suggestion is that you should be transparent about your hours and what you are serving. If you are going to stop serving food at a certain time, provide that info with the hours. It's beyond frustrating to wait in line for 30+ minutes to be turned away. Especially with only Sonic open nearby.
I love the food and the employees are great. But it's just so frustrating to look forward to visiting and it never going smoothly. Sorry for the novel, I'm a little hangry right now. I'm now #5 in line and it's 10:20pm. Fingers crossed!
Old Review - 6yrs Ago I grew up eating Braums ice cream so it surprised me there aren't more in Texas. I guess Texas likes Blue Bell and Oklahoma likes Braums! This location is within five miles from my house so we go there occasionally. We get great service and enjoy the ice cream. We often bring home a half gallon. I love their burgers as well. Get a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a hot fudge sundae. You...
Read moreBraum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Store is one of those rare places that manages to feel nostalgic and exciting all at once, and it easily deserves five stars. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cheerful, with the smell of fresh burgers, fries, and of course, their famous ice cream filling the air. It’s a place that always feels welcoming, whether you’re grabbing a quick cone, doing some grocery shopping, or sitting down for a full meal.
The ice cream is the star of the show—rich, creamy, and available in an incredible variety of flavors. Whether it’s a classic like chocolate or something seasonal and unique, Braum’s never disappoints. Their sundaes and banana splits are generous, and the waffle cones are always crisp and fresh. Beyond ice cream, the food is equally impressive for the price. The burgers are juicy, the crinkle-cut fries are perfectly salted, and even the salads and breakfast items taste fresh and satisfying.
What makes Braum’s extra special is their grocery section. Having access to their dairy products, baked goods, and everyday staples at such high quality and low prices is a bonus that sets them apart from any other ice cream chain.
Braum’s isn’t just a store—it’s a tradition. Consistent, delicious, and family-friendly, it’s always worth the trip. Five stars...
