Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Allen

We've been to a few other locations and the wife loves this place. I'm not sure we'll be back to this location. The wife wanted something listed as a cold brew but hot. So she asked what she could get instead. The girl was very sweet but she didn't know. So she asked the guy with the perm. . We were only three feet away and he gave her a look, jerked his head back and shook it like we had asked how we could get a coffee without a cup, and then gave an answer in a sarcastic tone. So then we asked about getting a breakfast sandwich like the one in the picture. The girl gave us an answer that was about how we had to order something and take this off and add this to it. We just wanted what was in the picture. So we got a cookie instead.

We waited for our drink and they brought a drink out to another lady. She said she wanted it without ice. So the guy with the perm takes a spoon a scoops the ice out and tops off the drink. I just think the optics of that are bad. Make a new one if she didn't order it that way.

So we're still standing there and I'm not sure what was going through there heads as to why we were still standing at the counter. We finally had to ask...

We just moved to plano and this will permanently be our go to coffee shop. My husband devoured the bacon egg and cheese croissant right when we walked out the door. We ordered the crème caramel as a frappe and it was so smooth. Love when coffee doesn’t make my stomach hurt ! The blueberry scone was gone before we got our coffee order it was so good! Highly recommend! Any question i asked they were so polite and patient! We wanted to try a cinnamon role because that’s how we tell if a place is top tier and she offered to make them fresh!
