We have been married 45 years and up until tonight, all our furniture has come from Haverty’s. We were in the Allen store a week ago and Andrea spent quite a bit of quality time with us to help us find the perfect sectional. We came back tonight to look again and Andrea was busy with several customers. We looked around a bit and decided on the sectional we wanted. Laura, the assistant manager, came over and asked if she could help because Andrea was tied up. Laura answered a few more questions, had an awesome suggestion for arrangement, and helped us purchase the sectional. She, without us asking, gave Andrea credit for the sale - that is what an amazing manager does. We are impressed with the apparent quality of the sectional, and can’t wait to get it in the house. Moreover, we were very impressed we with both Andrea and Laura. Laura’s leadership was evident when Andrea came over to ask a question on two different occasions, and as a school administrator, I can say I was highly impressed with Laura’s ability to answer and teach in such a positive manner. On a side note, when we visited a week ago we also went to the Richardson store to see a sectional that was not on display in Allen. Tayla helped us in Richardson and was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We all know people often leave reviews only after a fantastic or terrible experience, and this one falls into the former. My wife and I hadn’t planned on buying a couch yesterday, but after visiting Nebraska Furniture Mart, Ikea, and two smaller local shops, we walked into this store and immediately felt a difference.

The shopping experience here was by far the best I’ve had in the past five years. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a salesman named Jeff, who made it clear that they operate on a non-commission basis. His sole focus was on providing an excellent guest experience—regardless of whether we were ready to buy.

Jeff explained the advantages of buying from them, including that the items are made locally. He helped us design the exact 5 piece set couch we had in mind, using the fabric we wanted, which is important given our shedding cat and husky. Despite the distraction of our child occasionally crying, Jeff remained patient and kind throughout. His calm demeanor was much appreciated.

We decided to apply for Synchrony financing and were pleasantly surprised by a special gift. Importantly, Jeff didn’t push for financing or mention the gift until we made our decision, ensuring we had an unbiased experience.
