Big Woody's Sports Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Allentown

This seriously is the worst bar in A town. It was a long night and I just needed somewhere to go to have a drink. One of the gentleman there I think he might have been the manager. Super nice guy great hospitality. I asked him if he had any area where I can sit to myself without being hit on or bothered by anyone. He suggested the dining area which was such an awesome spot. I ordered a drink with the bartender. She said they couldn’t make a rum punch which is pretty weird. Every bar I’ve been to have been able to make a rum punch. I guess that was the first red flag. So I place my order. Once the food came out all was well. Next thing you know I realized that I didn’t have any napkins or silverware. My drink was also empty. I understood since it’s a Saturday night. However it was not that busy for a Saturday night and there were two bartenders from what I saw. I waited 45 minutes to wait for someone to come in and check to see how my food was, did I need anything and if I wanted another drink. Then I had to flag down one of the girls at the bar to get the bartender. Bartender finally comes and I ask for a Pinot Noir and for her to close me out. What pissed me off more than anything she never once apologized for the incompetence. She asked “what’s a Pinot Noir?” For goodness sakes if your a bartender at least know the basic names of your wine. And of course she also responded with we can’t do a pinot noir. If she didn’t know for goodness sakes double check with the manager to see if they actually do have it. Wow.. unbelievable. Where do they hire these people? To make it even worse the bartender processes my card, returns it, and says “I’ll just wait here until you sign the check.” I let her just stand there by not writing down anything until she was out of my sight. WTH. On top of all that I had these men come up to me to ask why am I all by myself. Then these other strange men just randomly coming near my area to just look at me and pretend they are just standing around. What an awful environment and such awful service. Never again. Had two drinks and left. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 21 years. This is probably one of the worst. What a horrible night. ...

Let me tell you I have been in the Customer Service Field for over 20years and I have never had such bad customer service until today from Big Woodies on Hanover ave...they messed up my order and never brought the rite soda. So mind you the whole time my food is sitting here for 7min while i wait for her to come back with my soda. So i decide to eat. After i eat 10min goes by and no soda so i call and the lady has such a bad attitude and said she must have taken another delivery. My delivery should have been first priority..since I paid already so i call again and the next lady that picked up the phone has the same bad attitude and is very condescending with her tone and is not very empathetic that i am sitting here with dry mouth because your employee messed up. So the district manager gets on the phone and as they are supposed todo he apologizes and offers me some French fries. The ones they brought me we soggy so i pass. I just told him that he needs to train his employees in customer service because you never no who is one the other line... plus its 15min after she left again to get my soda and she is still not back... i try so hard to be understanding but sometimes people need to be checked and brought back to the reason they have a job...SMH.... they need todo better...then the lady says I will give you your money back and bring you the soda so I wait again 15min and nothing so I call again and they said the lady gave me my money so she not coming back. SMH. People need to be accountable for...

Called to place an order the employee was new so she didn't know the oz size of the beer which when I caught wind of the attitude I apologized for bothering her she mumbuled under her breath oh god I let her know I heard her what she said the employee rudely continued to take my order I was paying with my credit card she again rudly told me the total when I asked if she wanted my credit card she snapped back yeah after providing g my card information I asked what her name was which she refused to give to me and hung up! I called back to speak with the manager who was just as ghetto and rude she proceeded to tell me she had things to do not allowing me to explain what happebed. This was the absolute worse service I have ever received, not to mention I previously was delivered food by another rude delivery driver! This place is rude and dispicable!
