Past three times I have been there have been a nightmare and will be the last time I go to this location! The first time I went there two weeks ago, I sat at the drive-thru for 10 minutes no one got back to me. A woman was saying at the door waiting to get in at the same time, 10:30 to 10:40 and at 10:40 a.m. they finally opened the door after I had to park my car because the drive-thru didn't answer. They continued to tell us that the fryers were down and getting fixed but no one can notify either me at the drive-thru or the customer waiting at the door! The second time I went there was yesterday. Because of this new chicken hype they are behind. They know full well that this new chicken sandwich was going to cause a craze and should have had more staff on hand! I wound up standing in line for 45 minutes and only moved two spots! They weren't asking anyone else if they were purchasing any other food only going as slow as humanly possible! After 50 minutes i left. Today I get to the drive thru at 10:15am..
There was only a few people out the door and I was the first one at the drive-thru at 10:15 knowing that at 10:30 that open I took my chances! By 10:35 I was beeping the horn trying to get someone's attention at the drive-thru so they would at least take my order! They did not take my order until 10:38. By 10:50 I'm at the window and waiting to pay my bills so I can get my order. I wound up having to call corporate from the drive thru and was on the phone with them 15 minutes. By the time I hung up and after knocking on the window till at least find out what's going on the woman came to the window and was pretty rude telling me that she was preparing the food. I continue to tell her that I was there since 10:15 and want to know what was going on since everyone behind me was beeping like I was holding up the line! I told her that she should have taken care of the people at the drive-thru as well because I was there before most of the people in line were! She was rude and slammed the window. By the time she got my order ready and took my money she was giving me attitude. Now mind you this is at 11 a.m. I clocked out from work to get food and was already late getting back to work . I payed for my order got my food and she refused to give me a receipt. Gave me no choice to get one. I was at least was trying to be courteous and said thank you and she said yeah and slammed the window at me.
I will never ever go to this location again! Although the food is not too bad the customer service sucks! Again this is three times I've been at this location and every time it's been an issue with the older woman with the short grayish hair! I highly recommend that Popeyes check into this and if they ask theirr customers to customers will tell them that this place is going...
Read moreI normally don't have any kind of negative feedback to leave for a store. If a mistake is made when it's busy and everyone is running around, I'll usually just wave it off because I know what it's like to work in a fast food restaurant.
Today, I can't just wave it off. I went into my local Popeye's in the Allentown Commons to use the coupon for 14 pieces of chicken (Tenders, 7 of each spicy and mild), two large sides and 7 biscuits. What I got was 11 pieces of chicken, of which only 2 were spicy and the rest were mild, and no biscuits. Again, when things are busy, this is perfectly understandable.
It was NOT busy when I went in.
There were 6 people working the store when I got there. For customers, there was one person in the drive through, who was leaving by the time I ordered, and two people eating in the store who already had their food. As for employees, three of them were just standing around, two of which were on their phones.
I had to wait a while for my order, which is fine, since the tenders had to be cooked. But having to wait 20 minutes to not get the order I paid for is completely ridiculous.
Oh, and to top off the Sunday, when I tried three times to call and ask about this, no one picked up. I tried calling for a total of 11 minutes.

Read moreIf you order from uber eats from this place don't do it. I order one time prior to a snow storm and my order was a family meal and it came with 2 sides. When it came to my house I only had 24 piece chicken and Rice and mash potatoes. I had no corn, no biscuits and I did not order 24 piece chicken I have a large family. So I contacted the store no answer then I contacted uber eats they refunded me a portion of my order that I did not receive. Then I said okay ima give them one more chance a month later because I'm having guest over because my grandmother in law was sick and people wanted to see her. So I ordered again but this time I did do the 24 piece and 12 biscuits no sides because I cooked the sides at home because my son likes homemade mac and cheese. The order took long then my uber driver came I asked her everything here she said yes I went to my kitchen open the bag no biscuits. I call my uber eats driver she said it wasn't her fault. I called popeyes they said she left it on the counter. I call her to go get it she gets it which took long my guest are waiting it took 25minutes to bring 12 biscuits. The biscuits came and they were hard and only 6 biscuits. I had 12 guest who wanted biscuits and I only had 6 in the box...
