China King Allentown — Restaurant in Allentown

I've been eating at this Chinese restaurant for many years and I have to say the food there is absolutely fantastic I did have a slight issue with an order that I I've received the other day nothing major of course but I left a review on it and I have to say the family that owns this restaurant are fantastic people the service is very courteous and polite the food is delicious and the owner of the establishment called me to address the issues that I had mentioned in a post and we hashed out many things and kicked around a lot of ideas on what to change and the problems that everybody has endured after covid and this inflation I definitely can say that Dave the owner is a very stand up man he loves his family very much he takes a great deal of pride in his business and most importantly he's one of very few business owners that Go Far and Beyond to ensure that his customers have the absolute best experience possible while dining at his establishment I'm extremely impressed by the professionalism of this business and this is why they've been in business for 30 plus years I hope they keep up the good work they're one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area and it would be a great loss if this place ever decided to retire so when leaving a review on this place whether it's good or bad please use discretion as for this place is one of the very few businesses in the area that really do care and want to make the better changes and give nothing less than an excellent food and service to their customers sincerely Chef...

If I could have gave this place negative stars I would. I wasn't expecting fine cuisine however this was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life of 30+ years of eating Chinese fast food. And believe me I grew up in NY I know good and bad Chinese food. Because I've never eaten here I thought I'd go simple and basic. Chicken and broccoli with white rice, boneless spare ribs strips and a small pork fried rice and a homemade ice tea.

The chicken tasted aweful. The broccoli in it had a few whole pieces but it had a lot of thin sliced stems. The carrot slices were large but tasted old. The white rice and the pork fried rice was just bad. How can 1 make bad white rice? I don't know but they did. The spare rib strips were the worst. Instead of thinly sliced easily to manage bites of strips they were large chunks mostly made of fat and because the hunks of meat were so large the flavor of the sauce didn't penetrate the meat so it was bites of bland pork meat. The sauce was good though. And lastly the home made ice tea had the color of watered down green tea and the taste of watered down Pepsi with lemon. And it appeared that there were oil spots floating in the tea. We tasted it seen the floating oil spots and threw it away.

Trust me do not eat here and if you do I'm certain you will look back on this review and wish that...
