We've been going here for over 2.5 years at this point, and have never had a better drink anywhere else, regardless of what I get, if you want a delicious drink, definitely come here, and then walk 20 feet to Little Miss Korea and have some K-Fries or Bao Buns.
Logan and Sammy have been incredibly lovely, and had basically memorized our preferences by visit 3, to the point where if my spouse goes and orders by themselves Heffel's automatically makes mine quarter sweet with oat milk.
I understand the few complaints on pricing on the loose-leaf and the coffee beans, everything is so expensive nowadays, but I've genuinely never had quality teas or coffee's for less than that, especially for the convenience.
When I want okay tea for grocery store prices I go there, when I want quality teas, I come here. Wouldn't try to buy leather shoe's at a Walmart, you know?
I definitely don't understand the few complaints on tone and behavior from Heffelfinger's. When I'm unfamiliar with a place or trying something new, I am WILDLY indecisive and struggle to make choices timely or concretely, and Sammy and Logan have always been endlessly patient, and helped me pick what they think would be good until we found my favourites.
It feels like the people who left those reviews were people who had Dunkin or Starbucks expectations and brought in a demeanor that was returned in kind, at worst. I've never seen any of them even raise their voice.
TL;DR : Logan and Sammy are lovely, everything is delicious, and in terms of quality and convenience you definitely get what you're paying for.
I fully recommend getting the Blueberry Lemon Bar Tea Latte, a London Fog, or the Indigo Punch with Pineapple, all...
Read moreI cannot say enough wonderful things about Todd, Logan, and their coffee! I have been purchasing products from Heffelfinger's for at least 7 years and have never been disappointed in their coffee or their service. This is a very busy place on weekends (because people love it!) and sometimes there is a bit of a wait but what better way to spend some time than by browsing all their different offerings (including a variety of teas and Stonewall Kitchen products) and smelling the aroma of delicious coffees. I am a big fan of flavored coffee, and Heffelfinger's has a fantastic variety -- both regular and decaf. I drink a lot of decaf coffee and have never found a place that has as many flavored decaf options as here! (My favorite decafs are Hawaiian Hazelnut and Yuletide). I have introduced many of my friends to Heffelfinger's coffee, and they are fans as well. I don't live in the Lehigh Valley but visit a number of times throughout the year and always head to Heffelfinger's with my own order as well as orders for my friends. Todd has also mailed coffee orders for me which is a wonderful service. If you are a fan of Starbucks bitter, burned coffee taste, then this is probably not the place for you, but if you love a well-balanced, smooth, rich coffee flavor, you'll enjoy Heffelfinger's coffee! Thanks to Todd and everyone at Heffelfinger's for always making my visits to your...
Read moreI am not sure whatâs worse: the over priced, terrible coffee or the salty attitude of the âgentlemanâ working. A lady in front of me in line asked the cost of bulk coffee, he promptly said in a condescending tone âcan you read the sign!?â. This is right after he and the female employee were mocking a customer that had just left. After I received my coffee I stepped away to put some sugar in it on another table top, within 3 seconds I was asked/warned/yelled at 4 times to not âadd anything over thereâ. I have absolutely no problem being asked or respectfully told to not do something, although I do have a problem when I am yelled at when there are no signs or anyway for me to that is not ok.. after I walked out of the store I took a drink of my coffee, absolutely terrible. Unless the taste profile of said coffee was cigarette butts and burnt toast I really think they missed the mark. So much so that I tasted it once more to make sure I was mistaken, and then threw it away. I just moved to PA and have been looking for a good local roaster and was hoping this could be them, unfortunately I donât like burnt toast and ashes for my coffee profile, to top it off they charge $16+ for a pound of...
